Best feature is ability to roll out of bed and dive with Ocean Frontiers.

Great view from 3rd Floor Balcony, otherwise this is a decent but dated hotel with terrible internet service in our room. Staff was friendly and helpful, good location for dinner at Tukka and you have Eagle Rays Lion Fish Tacos next door. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Great dive resort and service on the quiet end of Caymans

Mar 29th, 2020

Beautiful view, although can’t really go in the water. Quiet part of the island although it was even more quiet because it was the beginning of Covid so no cruises were on the ports. Easy to get around with a rental car (you need one if you want to explore). Scuba was for two of the family members and they had excellent diving each day. They would wake up, go get the breakfast at Eagle Ray’s, and wake with only their waterproof bag, everything else was taken care of. I was a non-diver so I would go out and explore the other parts of Caymans with my rental car. Starfish Point Beach, Rum point, Seven Mile, Blow holes, Spotters Beach, and Sting Ray city were all places that I got to explore. Grocery and liquor stores were both up the street—stock up since restaurant can get pricey. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Great place to get away!!!

Mar 24th, 2020

The whole package was wonderful. We were looking for a place to eat, sleep and dive. Everything was in great condition the staff was very friendly and helpful. Took our 12 year old son on his first dive trip and they really went the extra mile for us. This is it, we can’t wait to go back!!!!! TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Awesome Diving and wonderful staff!!

Compass Point and Ocean Frontiers made my daughters dive training an excellent experience. Joe, her instructor went out of his way to make sure she Was safe and able to appreciate the seriousness of scuba diving while having a great time. We dove as a family and did extra dives to the beautiful places along the reef. The apartments are clean, well supplied, with beautiful views. Fantastic experience!!! TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Great dive experience

Mar 5th, 2020

If you want to have a phenomenal diving experience, this is a place to visit. We have been there twice. The hotel fee included a car rental, which made life great. The East End of Grand Cayman is not replete with development (though Mark Cuban's home is next door), so you need a car to get around. The driving is safe and easy and there are enough restaurants within 15 minutes with great food. The resort includes a large efficiency unit. The dive service is really second to none. They pamper the divers. They keep and clean your equipment, set up the tanks, provide dive guides, entertain with great dive talks and maps during each trip and provide some refreshments on the boat. The regulators include dive computers. The diving in the East End is also great. Some of the sites on the wall are beyond description, and they will take you from the north to the south of the East End of the Island. We did a night dive, a trip to Stingray City and a wreck dive on the Kittiwake with the resort's organization and I couldn't have been happier. They carried all our gear and took good care of us. The resort is not for people who don't dive. If you don't dive, go somewhere else. The beach isn't great, the pool is mediocre, and the services (e.g. spa) are almost nil. But, if you are a real diver, this is heaven. The breakfasts are included, though they had been better during out first stay, when omelettes were made to order. The bar is a great place to hang for a drink. We picked up beers and drinks at a local market and kept them in the fridge in the room. The units have nice kitchens, so you could even cook a meal if you were inclined. The views are amazing and the sunrises are spectacular. I can't say enough about the quality of the dive masters and the crew. I have been to dozens of dive sites and they are able to maintain a great, enthusiastic and helpful team. No request was too small. I would certainly go back. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
