Best stay in Reno

Nov 19th, 2019

Atlantis is the Best! Everyone is so nice and helpful always, every shift, everyone loves their jobs, from the shuttle driver to housekeeper to bartender to dealer! We had a blast and the hot tub suite will happen again. All the rooms are great, clean and fully stocked. The housekeepers bend over backwards to make your day. They are very well trained to deal with the public. Our 45 anniversary was wonderful. The crabfeed was the best! TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Spectacular Hotel

Nov 19th, 2019

Spectacular Hotel. Modern, clean and great restaurants. I highly recommend the shrimp cocktail in the Oyster Bar. I also like the hotel's location. It's away from the downtown area. Therefore, giving you the opportunity to travel to Virginia City, Lake Tahoe and Carson City without any traffic congestion. I stay at this hotel each time I am in the Reno area. Disappointing

Nov 19th, 2019

We recently scrimped and saved to go enjoy a resort experience for our 10th wedding anniversary, and my Birthday. During check-in, the man did not wish me a happy birthday. In fact, he told me “There are a lot of birthdays here today.” I then had to ask about an upgraded room, as it was never offered. We paid for the “upgrade” and were given room 1950. THIS WAS NOT AN UPGRADE IN ANY WAY, SHAPE, OR FORM. It was a 2 queen room with the “lounge chairs” wedged in between one of the beds and the window. I was extremely disappointed, and felt a little slighted (we were not dressed up at check in) that I PAID EXTRA MONEY for a substandard room. Also, the sheets on the bed were not tucked at the foot, so you had to endure a flap of bedsheet wrapping itself around your foot. But it did not end there. After we got back to the room after celebrating (and being treated very well by bar and restaurant staff - the ONLY saving grace for this property) to take a shower and go to bed. The shower drain was malfunctioning causing me to have to stand knee-deep in dirty water, but I assumed I had inadvertently stepped on it at the time. The following evening, the same thing happens, and this time did not drain until the next morning when I had to physically hold it. Did I mention I had done a face mask in the shower and the floor was covered in grit? Yeah. By now I am in tears and the whole trip is ruined. I go to the car, and my Husband tries to rectify things with the front desk. He is told that since I did not COMPLAIN ENOUGH ON MY BIRTHDAY and ask to be moved all over creation in the middle of the night that there’s nothing they can do. Unbelievable service. Unbelievably horrible. It will take a miracle for me to EVER stay here again. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Stone Massage

Nov 19th, 2019

Jessica is an amazing therapist. My favorite spa in Reno. The brine room is so relaxing that I fall asleep each time.. hope that I am not snoring. So, accolades to the Atlantis for a world class spa! I inquired about purchasing the spa bathrobe as it was so cuddly and comfortable. Not for sale yet but will inquire again next trip to Reno in a couple of months. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
