A rundown hotel in a wonderful location

Jul 20th, 2019

The hotel could use a major investment it’s totally over priced for what one pays. Room are large but are very basic . Bathroom one has to pray that water will come out of the shower as pressure so weak.Bath towels have seen better days and could be larger and longer .one is not staying in an hostel . The hotel is located alongside the ocean /river and this is very nice.breakfast buffet correct. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Another awesome stay with Marriott!

Jul 19th, 2019

When I checked in this past Monday, my husband was not with me on this trip however, there was a note on the account that I will be checking in with my son. The Lady ( Enoque, I think?) and the front desk couldn't honor the Titanium benefits on the account for some reason. This is the first time I encountered this issue. I have stayed at many many BONVOY properties, recently at the sheraton Toronto and 2 weeks ago, at the Marriott Bristol in the UK and I was traveling alone on both trips and many other ones too and the Titanium benefits were immediately honored (I was upgraded to a suite with access to club lounge, free internet...etc). So this was a surprise to me that Enoque didn't want to honor those same benefits at their property. I understood that she did not have the authority to do so, but I appreciated her gentleness and her constant smile. She was very personable. She called however her supervisor, Christopher who was able to honor the Titanium benefits. My son and I were upgraded to a premium room overlooking the water and he gave us access the the club lounge, where we enjoyed beautiful breakfasts & evening snacks. The hotel was very clean and offered top notch service. When I was checking out early in the morning couple of days later, Mariana at the front desk was awesome! smiling at 3 AM and offering her assistance to call a taxi...etc. Overall, we are very happy with our stay and very grateful for this beautiful experience. Kudos to the manager, Bülent, for hiring such a great staff! TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Nice Views of the Canal.

Jul 17th, 2019

We only stayed one night at the hotel before a Baltic Cruise. The hotel was at full occupancy, we could not check in until 4 pm. That said, they did store our luggage and gave us lounge access (which was included in our room rate). The hotel did also mistake our reservation and got us a smaller room (alhtough they did give us discount as a result). Try to get a room overlooking the canal--its view is really fun. Rooms are reasonable for European standards. The excutive lounge serves a very good breakfast: breads, pasteries, cold cuts, cheese, fruit, and a good coffee machine. Also the hotel restaurant is very good, we ate there twice. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Nice hotel, standart Marriott. Location is perfect with outstanding views. Great customer service with amazing club lounge. Only one negative, rooms really need updating, it feels like we stuck in 1990. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Outstanding hotel and staff

Jul 15th, 2019

During our recent trip to Copenhagen we stayed at both the Marriott and the Radisson Blu. Night and day experiences. The Marriott staff was friendly and attentive. The lobby, hallways, room and bathroom were very clean and inviting. The room was very large with a great view (waterside). The climate control was much appreciated and also allowed for noise control. The breakfast, albeit expensive but what isn’t in Copenhagen, was excellent! Tons of variety, cool to order as well as Buffett. The location was very good. The fitness center was also nice. The only thing that looked a little tired was the carpet in our room but it still felt clean, just worn. The Radisson Blu was awful in comparison. (No a/c, very small room, dirty shower) We will return to this Marriott for all future visits if possible! TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
