Clean, but paper thin walls
Jan 7th, 2021
Don't let the sub perfect rating keep you from coming here. The accommodations were clean; the staff was good. They kept to WI covid standards. We visited the pool and thankfully it wasn't overcrowded. The staff enforced the adult hour in the pool, also appreciated. I just wish the walls weren't so paper thin. Our neighbors woke at 6:30 and we could hear all of their conversations. Mind you, they weren't screaming kids, thankfully. Hotel was decent. I just really wish there was a little more of a sound barrier between the rooms. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
If you're there for fun, don't go

We took the grandchildren and son there for fun. I called to make sure the pool was open which it was. We often stay at area hotels to swim and soak in the hot tub. When we got to Country Inn, the hot tub was closed off with orange cones. I'm giving one star because when I called to see if the pool was open, they could have said "but the hot tub is not". There were 2 other families there and we all discussed that we were all there for the pool and hot tub. People who are going to a hotel with their kids for the pool are not that worried about covid in the first place, so sitting in a hot tub or splashing around with other people is not a big deal. Just limit how many adults (keep kids out) at a time in the hot tub. Then there's breakfast. First complaint is that they hand you a paper bag and you have no idea what you're getting. No milk or cereal at all. Everyone got a blueberry muffin which we all hate, so they were all thrown in the trash. Let's make this short and say the paper bag was full of nothing. Bring your own! Better yet, find a different hotel. If you are just sleeping here and you don't care about breakfast, Country Inn does have comfortable beds. Don't expect fresh coffee in the morning in the lobby. Poor value for Price

I got a one bedroom for $170 a night. Breakfast options were poor. Not food that I would want to eat. The woman at the front desk was on and off as far as customer service goes; was very interesting. Sometimes she was super friendly and other times she seemed like she was in a bad mood. The room was NOT worth the money. No blanket, only one garbage can in the whole place and with no housekeeping that was a pain. No utensils in kitchen. Nothing! No coffee cups or coffee supplies that normally accompany a coffee mug in room. No blanket in room. The carpet was stained. There was trash under the sleeper sofa and bed in bedroom. The gym is a joke. Tiny room w a couple of cardio machines and some weights. I'm shocked that this hotel is listed as #2 out of 12 hotels in the Brookfield area. Def would not stay here again. Terrible value for money. Im not sure if we just got a bad room or if every room is like this. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

With lack of traveling these days due to the covid thing, i found the experience here very favorable. the room was clean, the bed comfortable, the staff friendly and can't say anything but good things about the time here. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
