Bad front desk lady

I did get my money’s worth for the hotel but as soon as I arrived the front desk lady with the very short hair was rude the rest of the ladies seemed kind but she talked to us like we were dumb & wasn’t paying for good customer service TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Only suggestion is to sell guests water if the vending machines are out. Or just provide it complimentary. All my kids went to bed without water because the vending machines were out. Other than that, staff was friendly and I'm super satisfied with our stay. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
Bed Bugs are Real

The day we checked in key card didn’t work. Had to go down stairs to change to room 213. This room’s safe didn’t work and carpet was very sticky. Like some type of sugary drinks spilled. 2nd day 7/12 our key cards didn’t work. (??) Very tired didn’t feel like having to go down to front desk Again to deal with this. Also signs say discounted parking tickets to Wild Adventure. However when tried to purchase the attendant at desk said she didn’t have any idea how to do that.Late 7/12 I found 2 what I believe to be bed bugs(never have had them). Called front desk and asked for fresh linens. The attendant said she would bring them up. After stripping bed and waiting over 30 minutes still nothing.......My husband called she then stated she was alone & if we wanted we would need to come get our self. She was very unapologetic & only gave us sheets, said out of blankets! What!! We made the bed with clean sheets. Then my husband saw more bugs & was ready to change rooms. At first he thought I may be overreacting until he started seeing the bugs! We had to wake my kids up and drag all of over things to new room after 2am. It took us over a hour to try & get settled. Put my family to bed room 210 another bed bug(I guess). I killed it but not before getting video. This is now 4th bug I seen in hotel bed. So very gross. By the way got pictures from other room also. Next I went to bathroom about 3:30 saw roach. At this time my husband & kids are sleeping but I can NOT. I kill bugs and pray. Book stay at another hotel for the rest of week. Because we had reservations to go to Wild Adventures(already paid) So we were planning on waking up eating breakfast early. So We could be there when they opened.But we couldn’t because of this HORRIBLE Experience. We were exhausted and had to Again pack up go to Wild Adventure. We waited for check in time other hotel. By this time my vacation is really Messed Up because of this Awful Experience. I spoke to Shana at front desk & requested manager. She was very nice & helpful. Showed her pictures & videos and she told me manager would call me back.Within 15 minutes Shana called me back & told me she spoke to manager, She said they would be contacting Priceline telling them I was unhappy with stay, to give me Full Refund. But she would need me to please text her pictures & videos,Now. Remember I’m on my vacation but she insisted it couldn’t wait. I took more time away from family & vacation to send right away. On 7/22 my American Express still had Not been credited back to my account. So I contacted hotel 1st Shana answered phone. I told her it was charged on card 7/11. So it has been more than 5 business days. She advised me they had contacted Priceline to issue my credit. I ask her to have manager call me back. She said a manager would definitely give me a call. At this time I reach out to Priceline about situation. They advise me they had Never been contacted about this situation. This was the very 1st time they were hearing about problems with stay. So this hotel is Bug infested with Terrible Management ! I’m very upset how my family was treated by this hotel. It’s bad enough what happened. But inexcusable how management handled the situation after. Before this instance my family had stayed at this same hotel many times. It was very clean, enjoyed nice breakfast, indoor pool, hot tub, & polite staff. I guess things can change rather quickly. And being nice to people will always go a Long way. Priceline is trying to refund money due to my on efforts. I was Never called by hotel manager. Hope there can be some improvements to this hotel and management staff. Families or anyone else do Not deserve to be mistreated when you pay hard earned money. There are many hotels to choose from. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Room was disgusting, dog feces on floor, stains in carpet and furniture, dried food on remote. No Covid-19 infection mitigation controls were followed. Second room was just as bad. We found another for our stay. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
Lots of amenities and good price

Spacious suites, good bed and shower, enjoyable pool and hot tub. It is also close to shops. We would return. Valdosta is a very good half-way point to our people in Florida. Front desk staff were helpful and friendly. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
