Stayed at the Country Inn in Billings, MT. Very nice hotel. Spacious room with 2 king size beds. The kids had fun in the pool and hot tub. We did a lot of shopping at our favorite stores. Kohl’s and Shoe Carnival were 2 that we visited and of course the Rimrock Mall. We also went to our favorite eating places, Olive Garden, and Texas Road House. We live in Great Falls and do not have those restaurants available to us. Was a treat for all of us. My kids really ate well. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Very clean room, helpful employees but the location makes it impossible to turn left or right. We found that Bench Blvd was the only way out. But overall a quiet, nice room and enjoyed the stay. We would probably return again. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
The website is misleading

We had an interesting experience here. We chose this hotel because of the location convenience and because it looked really nice according to the website. First, the staff was REALLY great and accommodating. But we had some issues with check-in. When we got there at 8:30 pm to check-in there was no one there. We waited for ten minutes before someone came out to help us. They must have been in the bathroom, but there was no one else there. We had three tired kids with us so it was an inconvenience. However, the staff member was nice and apologized for the wait. We booked a double king because of our group of five. When we got to our room, unfortunately it smelled terribly of old cigarette smoke. There was no way we were staying in there because of the smell and for $130 per night, so we asked for a room change. They did not have a double King available but they hd a king suite with a pull out bed or a double queen. We tried the suite with the pull out bed but the pull out bed was just so extremely uncomfortable we asked to switch to the double queen instead. The staff member was over accommodating and even brought us up our keys. But then, our double queen deadbolt did not work. There was no way we were staying in Billings with a door that didn’t lock with kids. So we had to change yet again to a double queen that worked for us. Honestly, it also smelled kind of bad when we walked in, but at that point we were exhausted. There was no water bottles like the other rooms had, there was a red stain on one of the bed linens, the bathtub was not properly cleaned with hair all over the bottom of it, and the coffee machine had an old filter in it. We were upset because our expectations were much higher than we received. The hotel is also pretty old, with “updated” rooms. The room was nice and the bed comfortable, but the bathroom was just yucky. When we checked out, the staff member gave a nice discount after explaining that we had to downgrade rooms and also informing her of the dirty tub. However, we won’t be staying there again. The pictures portrayed something much nicer than what it really was. The hotel website should have also stated that continental breakfast was not being served and we had grab and go bags at the front desk because of covid-19. We were looking forward to the nice continental breakfast shown on the website. There should have definitely been a disclaimer for that. Overall, our experience was poor compared to other places we’ve stayed at this price. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
Nice quiet relaxing

Nice, clean, quiet, relaxing place to stay. “Whirlpool” in room could have been bigger & better & the “washer & dryer in room” was missing but other than that i would definitely give it two thumbs up. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
Initially given a room w/a broken toilet!
Mar 10th, 2020
We arrived around 8:30PM, tired after traveling all day, and despite having advance reservations and frequent-stay (Gold) status, were initially given a room with a broken toilet (the tank top was off; tools alongside; it was clearly being worked on), necessitating a return lobby visit to another room, then delivering our luggage to another floor for an in-service room. A MAJOR staffing disconnect for a room which should have been tagged out-of service. The room we eventually stayed in was just OK, as was the breakfast--nothing exceptional, just functional. Even without the broken toilet SNAFU, we've stayed in many other much nicer Country Inn properties. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
