I really want to share the most wonderful customer experience I received from Daijah! From the moment I called and spoke with her several times the day I called she was so very welcoming and professional. She was able to accommodate my request each time I spoke with her. I really want to thank her and let the management team know that you have a GEM with Daijah at your front desk! The property is well maintained and I would highly recommend this property for your travels. Hotels with this type of customer service really makes a difference when choosing where to stay!! Thank you Courtyard for your wonderful hospitality!! TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Daijah at the FD went above and beyond to make my family’ stay unforgettable. My family was visiting the country for the first time and needed a room to stay for the night. They were delighted by the way Daijah help them. Thank you Daijah, you are a super star ⭐️ TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Nope....never again!

I honestly don't blame the rigid front desk manager Stephanie for this awful review as I blame the hotel's awful and non-flexible policy; but she didn't make it any better. The situation was so awful that two CYBM employees walked over to me and apologized for the inconvenience; I thank them for that. As others. I booked the CYBM through PL as I like the brand and it was close to the JAX airport. They also have a hot tub (the jets weren't working) but the water was very warm, it was like sitting in a bathtub. A close friend (a female from Jacksonville area) asked if she could hang out with me before my flight and we could go to dinner, she would show me the town and we could just have an enjoyable evening catching up. As she has mobility issues and doesn't get out very often, I thought it was a great idea. She is going to have knee surgery after she loses more weight. I walked in (like I have done many times before at hotels to check in) (and did I mention I stayed at this property two other times in the past) told the front desk clerk Stephanie that my situation changed as a result of my friend joining me and I requested a two bed room as opposed to the King bed room I booked through PL. The answer was a resounding "NO" as I booked through a "third party provider PL and under no circumstances could the reservation be changed. I explained that I could not sleep in the same bed as my friend (we aren't married and it is prohibited in our religion) and she still stated "no, as I booked through a third party provider PL". I asked to pay the difference in rooms and the answer was continuously "no, as I booked through a third party provider PL". I mentioned that I was Marriott member, "no....". This is when one of her co-workers walked by and discreetly apologized for what was happening. There was an option she presented: I didn't really understand it but it basically meant disregarding my reservation and then re-booking, basically throwing a 100 dollars away. Her rigidity was so off putting that I honestly didn't want to hear anything she said at that point. I couldn't believe that I was at a Marriott and I couldn't believe the situation. Oh....did I mention it was a Sunday night and the hotel was completely empty??? Eventually she offered us a room with a couch (it was as awful as it sounds sleeping on a hotel "couch") but it was all we could do at that point. Like I said in the beginning, I honestly do not blame this non-hospitable and non-flexible employee for this situation as I blame CYBM. They hired her, they instituted a policy that was non-flexible (travelers need a little flexibility especially after a long day of travel) and they openly treat third party providers (PL, Hotwire, etc) differently than others who book directly through the hotel; and for those reasons I will not be going back! Location, Location, Location for Airport

This Courtyard is only a couple of minutes from the Jacksonville Airport. I love the location especially if you’ve been traveling all day. This is your typical Courtyard. Nice, clean & staff were friendly. I will stay here again my next trip to Jacksonville. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Friendly Staff Made the Difference!

Sep 18th, 2019

This is a nice property located conveniently to JAX and I-95...and was super close to two of my clients, who were in an adjacent industrial park. Despite significant road construction right at the hotel, we didn't have any issues getting in and out and no noise problems in the evenings. Sarah at the Bistro was super friendly each evening! She made a couple of good restaurant recommendations for my colleague and me. The young lady working the front desk in the afternoons/evenings was also super friendly, and always asked how our dinners were and where we went. Her friendliness seemed very genuine and not artificial. I wish I'd caught her name to give her a proper thank you on here. Overall, a great experience!! Two thumbs up (well, 4 if you count my co-worker...he liked it too). TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
