Great hotel

Dec 9th, 2019

I stay here when in town for business. The hotel is centrally located with a lot of cool places to eat near by. Hotel is clean, quiet and spacious. Staff is excellent and accommodating. Rooms are reasonable. They also have valet parking which is nice. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Extremely convenient for a game weekend

Dec 1st, 2019

This location is the closest to memorial stadium and Pinnacle arena and they offer a free shuttle to the Devaney center. So, it really is perfect if you're going to university sporting events. It's clean, comfortable, modern, and has stellar customer service. I would like to see a little more value for the price. It was $50 to park for 2 days and breakfast for 2 was over $30 in their bistro. We stay at Marriott properties all over the country and this is the priciest I've come across. We would definitely stay again but there are others downtown with slightly better deals. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Do not recommend

Nov 10th, 2019

I’m adding the second star only because the lady that checked us in was pretty nice. I have stayed in many Hyatt hotels, especially Hyatt Place’s and I’ve never seen anything like this. Shortly after checking in, I try to turn on the tv and the battery cover is missing and the batteries fell off. That was the first no-no. Secondly, I notice a blonde strand of hair on the pillow. My friend and I both have black hair. That was disgusting because it made me question if this was a strand of hair from another guest or maybe just the housekeeper’s, or if the pillow shams were not replaced at all. Then, finding a collection of dust on the clock. After my friend calls the check in lobby, they offered us to move. We asked that they come and check what we were talking about because had it just been the remote or the broken tile in the bathroom, we would have let it slide. But the blonde hare on my pillow was too far. The lady how came up was barely apologetic or could have cared less. Again, she offered to move us to a “clean” room, to which by then we are THIS room should have been cleaned and what made them think the other room was going to be clean. We did end up moving but we almost just wanted to leave the hotel. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Very central and great customer service

Nov 7th, 2019

This was the conference hotel for a conference we just attended. It was very easy to get there from the airport. The rooms were great and the front desk and valet customer service were fantastic. You need to pay for parking. It was $16 per day or $17 per day if you did valet. Do the valet! Very quick to get access to your car. They had a breakfast that came with your room. It was not your average continental buffet. It was amazing but took a little time, especially when you have over 100 people attending for a conference. Give yourself some extra time in the morning ... it will be worth it! Try the vanilla nut oatmeal! Yum! TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Plan for Extra Spending

Nov 5th, 2019

Everything is indeed extra here. Parking is extra, breakfast is extra. Fans in the workout room must be extra because they do not have any. You can get Starbucks coffee as long as it is before 11 AM. It appeared the maid must have taken a nap on the bed before we arrived because there was an indentation on the pillow and the top cover was in disarray. It is my fault for not calling attention to this by notifying the front desk, but we were exhausted so the pillow was just tossed to the floor. Only shampoo and soap in the bathroom, not the usual lotion, shoe cloth, shower cap etc. The room was not cheap and I expected better. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
