A most pleasurable experience. Will certainly stay there again.

The staff was very accommodating and pleasant from the front desk personnel (Tamika - can't remember the other names) to the maintenance and then last but not least - the food staff Cadedra, Mike, Etta, Sabrina, Tischinna and Kiera. I hope I didn't leave someone out. The food was outstanding and the staff very friendly. No complaints at all with our room: It was clean, well-appointed and comfortable. Looking forward to a return visit. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

And His Mama Cried

I guess if you’re staying near the Memphis airport, noisy and sketchy are just what you should expect. This Courtyard is also dirty and my room smelled funny. Plus the air conditioning didn’t work. Certainly not worth the loss of 15 minutes of sleep to stay somewhere nicer. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Simply the BEST!

I wanted to take a moment to rave on this hotel and the staff. This Courtyard puts the H in hospitality! I cannot rave enough about the front desk staff and how I was greeted during my visit. I also want to rave on how AWESOME Cadedra in the Bistro was and what an outstanding job she does. She genuinely cares about her guest and their experiences. I would recommend this location to anyone, I had a very positive experience during my visit. Cadedra I hope you had a wonderful birthday, all the best! TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Southern Hospitality

My family arrived late evening following a long day of flying. Shayla, at the front desk, made us feel at home and welcomed us with an upgraded room after recognizing my status with Marriott. The hotel is dated and in need of renovation and new furniture. However, the rooms are clean and the staff in all departments were extremely hospitable to my family. I recommend this property if you are looking for a short stay near the airport. The shuttle service is free and flexible for guests as well. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Memphis Mistake

Possibly the worst Marriott experience ever. The shuttle took well over an hour to pick us up at the airport so things started off badly. No "welcome to the Marriott" at check in just a very rude person at the front desk, almost like we were bothering her. The room itself was small and desperately in need of an update. Water in the bathtub drained very slowly so you ended up ankle deep by the end of your shower. Sofa had no pillows so was almost unusable. We went to Memphis on our first day (the hotel is about a 15 minute Uber from downtown and there is no shuttle service except to/from the airport so if you are going into town be aware) and when we arrived back our room had not been serviced. When I called down I was told I had requested no service which I never ever do. Since housekeeping was gone for the day a gentleman brought us new towels and he was very apologetic and helpful. Finally! I had requested a late checkout when I booked the room and confirmed on-line and in person every day. Over the course of 3 days we confirmed several times with the front desk. As we were leaving the hotel on our last day we again confirmed we had a late check out and were told no it was never put in the system. They were able to do it that day but again a total failure to communicate. Last but not least I wrote an e-mail to the general manger to commend a few of his associates that went above and beyond and never received a response. We stayed at two other Marriott properties on this trip (New Orleans and Nashville) and had great experiences in both. Memphis not so much. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
