Great service

Jun 15th, 2019

Cadedra at the Bistro was awesome. I was limited in what I could eat and she made sure I was satisfied before walking away. Great service from a young friendly young lady. Definitely coming back. The rooms are great and the ambience throughout the hotel is great. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Thanks from Brittney

Tameika and Jeff were extremely nice. Jeff greeted me with the warmest smile ever. Tameika came right behind Jeff and also greeted me with a warm smile. They were both very helpful and patient because my flight got canceled. We need more people like Tameika and Jeff. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Great hospitality

Jun 7th, 2019

The hotel is convenient to the airport and the freeways to get wherever you need to go in Memphis. There’s not much around the hotel itself though. The accommodations are sufficient for a fairly comfy stay. The room size, amenities, and furniture are nice enough. The best part about this hotel is the hospitality. All members of the staff are pleasant, kind, and beyond helpful. I had wonderful interactions with Pete, Cadedra, and Kayla that helped make my stay comfortable. I recommend this hotel purely on the basis of those that work there to make it a lovely stay. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Friendly Housekeeping

May 29th, 2019

I stayed the last weekend in May 2019 for a couples adventure in Memphis. Words cannot describe how friendly the housekeeping staff was!! We denied service during our stay because we were only there for a weekend and did not need housekeeping services, however at check in the room was spotless. 10/10 I would stay there again for any trip to Memphis simply because the housekeeping team was so friendly. Everyone we walked by said hello and asked us how we were- a housekeeping team like this is rare to come by. The front desk was less than helpful - we didn’t even know there was a fitness center until our last day. Being in the hotel industry I was disappointed that the front desk didn’t offer information on the hotel or the city nor did they ask if we wanted room service vs. points during our stay. We bought a few drinks through your stay and not once when interacting with the front desk did they ask us about our stay or our trip. Just an extra level of personalized service you would expect from a Marriott property. Overall the housekeeping staff alone made our stay at the hotel well worth it. They were warm and friendly every single time we saw someone. They went out of their way to say hello and offer a welcoming smile. The parking lot was safe as well as the area. Not a far Uber or Lyft from all of the local attractions. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Really Liked the Room

May 23rd, 2019

I stayed here two nights, while in town on business. This is a good old fashioned Courtyard Property, with lots of Balcony Rooms & First Floor Walk-out rooms. The property has an actual courtyard with lots of outdoor seating and an outdoor pool. The property is nicely maintained, both inside and out. My room was spotlessly clean. Further, I was upgraded to a first floor suite that opened on to the courtyard... The rooms are of the latest Courtyard Décor & the TV's are nice and new with plenty of channels to choose from... For those reasons, I really liked the room. The only thing that kept me from rating the property a "5" was the fact that this is an "Airport Hotel", and it totally miffs me that one has to wait until 6:30 to get a cup of coffee. I am not sure why they can't follow the lead of most Airport Hotels in most cities and get the coffee out early. I realize the Memphis Airport is not what it used to be, but they still have very early flights. You could sell a bunch of coffee to folks waiting on the shuttle early in the mornings... not to mention folks like me that get up early. Also, there is a severe shortage of dining options near the hotel... it's quite the ride to dinner, unless you wish to eat at their bistro. As a Titanium Elite for Life Status holder with the Marriott Brand, I can say that this is a nice hotel property. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
