Good hotel but overpriced like everything in Page

Apr 20th, 2019

The hotel is nice clean with spacious rooms. Its hard to get an outstanding quality in the area so this might be the best you can get -except some new build apartments coming up in the near. This might be why it is so overpriced. However do not expect luxury or the Marriott like in LA. It is a basic bit outdated hotel but maintained well so nothing really to complain. A few things though: overpriced, can be noisy if you are unlucky with your neighbours or some simpleton screaming in the outside jacuzzi, the gym is very basic, the shop is also overpriced and sells stuff at random different prices. Some bar staff can look very unhappy or overtired with some exaggeration. You get the real local people working here as well. Breakfast gives a good selection of food, you can get water coffee and cocoa for free. Page in general I think is overpriced for the natural beauty you can visit here however the quality of service is not necessarily follows thats. Dont forget you are here to look at sand and rocks - very nice though. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Worst Hotel

Apr 16th, 2019

This hotel is really really old - like from the 60s. The corridors are very narrow and rooms are small. There is still old musty smoky smell in the room.no microwave owen in room - you have to go down to the lobby to get hot water for your tea. And the worst of all they have NO USB PORTS in the room! Unlike other Courtyards, no free breakfast at the hotel. They have a restaurant where we ordered a 25$ Fajitas - it was served with undercooked chicken and tasteless frozen vegetables spread on it. Absolutely awful service by the front-desk folks who refuse to give any help even when you complain. Avoid at all costs. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Not Typical Marriott

Apr 15th, 2019

We loved the staff at the Marriott as they were friendly and helpful. The rooms and surrounding hotel building were a little tired. Not what I would expect from a Marriott. We had asked for King beds but discovered Queen beds when we opened our door. The front desk was quick to fix the problem. Unfortunately, there was no elevator in our wing of the hotel, so we had to carry our luggage up two flights of stairs. (There was an elevator in another wing of the hotel for rooms in a that area.) Some of the outlets, in our room, would not hold a plug (the ones near our nightstands). Although the landscaping was lovely, the building itself needed a little TLC. The bar/lounge didn't open until later in the evening (around 5:00) It would have been nice if it could have been open as early as 3:00 for "happy hour-like" enjoyment. We ended up having to leave hotel, to get a beer after our long day of travel. The free water, in the lobby, was a nice touch as was the fire pit, near the pool. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

WE RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL

Apr 14th, 2019

If you are visiting Page and Lake Powell, this is a good choice for lodging. We spent two nights at the hotel as part of our tour (cannot address prices since the room was included as part of our tour). Our room was clean. The hotel staff was efficient and helpful. One major drawback, however, was that the hotel's WIFI server was not secure and thereby questionable (we did not use). We have reviewed the hotel's restaurant (very good ) separately. Nice Hotel

Apr 14th, 2019

We stayed at this hotel 2 nights and were well pleased. The check in staff were very kind and helpful. I needed a wine opener and they sent one up to the room. The beds and pillows were very comfortable. The view was great of the pool area and red rock. We found the location to be fantastic as well. I used the fitness room, stair stepper and treadmill which was in good shape. Water and towels were available. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
