Nice hotel, good location

Very nice hotel. Staff was friendly and helpful. The dining was also very good, but be aware that they do not do dinner on Sunday night. Other than that we were very happy with the hotel and accommodations. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Outstanding hotel.

I stayed 3 nights in this Courtyard. Very nice hotel, good location close to everything. Comfort with American standards. Awesome staff at the reception desk. Super clean. Will definitely come back for my next trip to Paris. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

August stay

Checked out of the hotel this morning after a 4 night stay. Very modern and beautiful hotel. We really enjoyed our stay. Hotel is a little out of city center but you can easily take metro into city with about a 5min walk. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay here again. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Extremely disappointing accommodations and customer service

I am extremely and totally disappointed in Marriott’s accommodations and customer service at the Courtyard by Marriott Paris Boulogne. I checked into the hotel with my wife and 2 sons on 25 July 2019 for a 2-night stay. The outside temperature that day was 107 degrees Fahrenheit. Upon entering our room, we were met with a wall of heat so hot that I immediately adjusted the AC setting to its lowest setting and we decided to walk down the block to a restaurant in order to give the room time to cool off. After returning that evening the room was still extremely hot so we called to the front desk for assistance, at which time, we were informed that the AC in the hotel was not working. Why were we not informed of this issue prior to check-in?? I consider the lack of knowledge transfer a deliberate act of deception.The front desk assistant had an oscillating fan brought to the room which was inefficient, very noisy and kept us up both nights. After complaining the manager would only offer us 50% ($85) off the 1st night rate of $170. I submitted a guest survey in which I conveyed that we should have, at the minimum, been offered a 50% discount for both nights. The manager responded with the following email in which she tried to “up” the peace offering to include 10,000 Marriott Bonvoy points to my account. Dear Mr Merritt, First of all I would to thank you for taking of your time to answer our guest satisfaction survey. I completely understand how much frustrating it was for you this inconvenience occurred during your stay with us and please accept my sincere apologies for it. I can confirm you that the lender of our air conditioning system came at the property at the the beginning of the week, in view of the high and abnormal temperatures announced in Paris. The parameters of our system were already at the maximum and we were able to obtain 20 degrees of difference between the external and internal temperature. As a gesture of goodwill we made a discount of 50% for one night and I more than happy to offer you 10.000 Marriott Bonvoy points into your account. I truly hope that I will have another opportunity to welcome you again at our property, During this time I remain at your disposal and I wish you a lovely day. Nice room, well located and good for a family stay

The room was well appointed, and well laid out for a family stay. The room was very large by Paris standards. The cleaning staff were excellent. Breakfast was good but not great. If you are travelling with a family to Paris this is a great option. There are some very nice restaurants near the hotel as well. The front desk was very helpful with assisting with restaurant choices etc. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
