Just an overnighter en route back to Vancouver WA to complete a move from Southern California – but what a perfect stay. Special thanks to Jonathan on the Front Desk who helped us make a last-minute reservation and even made sure we had a Titanium upgrade to the King 1-Bedroom Suite: bath tub, microwave and refrigerator, wet-bar, bedroom door and windows that open for a breeze. There is a fitness room available by appointment (with a water dispenser) and the outdoor pool/Jacuzzi area looked like it would be heaven in warmer weather. Thanks also to John L. for his friendly professionalism in getting us in smoothly upon arrival. We shall return to quite a fantastic property! TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

A very difficult review

I LOVE this property in Paso Robles, and have been staying here ever since it opened...5 or so years ago. We probably have 100 nights give or take. We go to Paso (pre-covid) a LOT....1-2 times a month. We absolutely love the hotel, location, personnel, customer service. Therefore our extreme disappointment and sense of insecurity, and lack of confidence of proper covid precautions being taken. Having planned a 4 night stay (our first time out since February), so we could visit friends and winemakers in Paso.....having the mental security of staying at a hotel that we would feel, literally, safe and "at home" in. THAT was not the case. Despite signage in the entrance door about requiring masks to be worn "at all times while in the lobby, elevator & other public places", a statewide mandate...procedures were not followed. We saw guests without masks, employees without masks (when I mentioned that to one she replied to me: "You are wearing one, so you're protected," and a manager, who when I discussed my observations and experiences (who came out of his office to see me without a mask on) replied to me that (the signs/mandates) "were really just suggestions" did not make for a comfortable stay. We immediately cancelled the rest of our reservation and stayed only the one night. This is about health, safety and following procedures for everyone's safety and well being. We love this hotel....but I urge anyone who is staying there to observe.....and do what is comfortable for yourself. The lax attitude by management and staff was simply-inexcuseable. And...this is a very difficult review..because prior to this....everything about this hotel would be 5 star plus. (our stay was October 18, 2020). SEE BELOW: PER THE SIGNAGE, HOTEL STAFF WERE REQUIRED TO WEAR FACEMASKS.....BUT IT WAS MORE OF A WEAR ONE IF YOU WANT attitude that my wife and I experienced. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Don't stay here during a heat wave

I stayed here for my birthday during a terrible heatwave in August. The front desk gave me the best room in the house: next to the laundry room and without a functioning AC system. The AC was not able to get the room to below 76 degrees. We were burning inside. I called the front desk and they didn't apologize and simply said, "we're all booked up. there's nothing we can do". He seemed a little young and, granted, it was around 1am, but still, I'd expect a concierge to be a little more sympathetic. Luckily, I booked with points and called customer service. They refunded me all my points and I also got 2000 points for a 0 night stay. Fortunately, my friend's Airbnb had an extra room, so I just stayed with them. Other than the AC not working, the room was a little dated and smelled dated, but it was a typical 3 star hotel. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

The best hotel in Paso Robles

Close to everything, super comfortable, clean, and QUIET!. Pool was nice, service was also good. I wouldn’t stay anywhere. I wish the bar, restaurant, and pantry were open, Can’t wait to come back, highly recommend it. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Great stay for our trip to wine country

Had a great visit here. Jess Rodriguez was very helpful and helped us switch to a nicer room. With the current situation the hotel handled all my request. The Thai restaurant that is walkable is excellent. Will be back. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
