Friendly staff ... Rooms are dated and in need of upgrades

Jul 16th, 2019

Staff was very friendly and helpful. I was upgraded from a queen to King due to status; however, the room was extremely small and in need of some maintenance (tub had stains and scratches, main door handle was loose, chipped and scratched furniture, etc.). Without trying to sound pretentious, I was a bit disappointed with upgrades considering I have Titanium Elite status ... It really didn't seem to make a difference, where I have been upgraded to suites and junior suites at much higher quality Marriotts. The space was clean, but the furniture and space were worn. I did not eat at the hotel, but there are options in the lobby. The lobby was welcoming and as stated, the staff were friendly and helpful. There is no green option offered at the hotel, even though it appears available on the app. Doors are card key entry only and my door handle was in need of repair, constantly sticking ... A screw was protruding from the handle inside the room. Overall, the room met the main necessities; however, I would have been dissatisfied had this been a room for a vacation stay. Nice property, centrally located

Jul 13th, 2019

Nicely kept property in downtown Pensacola right on the bay, near Saltgrass Restaurant, Broken Egg, McGuires, and the arena. The staff will of out of their way to accommodate. Everything is fairly new and well maintained. It is about 15 minute4s from the beach and about 30 from the Navy Base, 50 minutes from Orange Beach. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Excellent and easy to get to

Jul 7th, 2019

Located near restaurants and not too far from the beach. Great place for families or couples. The room was spacious but free breakfast was not included, however you can buy items from their onsite bistro. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Friendly and clean

Jul 7th, 2019

We booked two rooms and both were nice. We did not eat at the hotel, but there were some good restaurant within walking distance. The beds were comfortable and good size. One thing they could change, there is no air conditioning vent in bathroom. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Pensacola, Tennessee

Jun 3rd, 2019

Typically one stays at a Courtyard because you love Marriott, but this is just a quick stop, and no need to spring for the W. However, as a Persón who travels 100% with no home or apartment, you also continually live and learn. From now on when my travels take me anywhere near Pensacola, regardless of stay length I will pass the Ritz in search of MY Courtyard. I’ve always liked the customary “home court” feel of a Courtyard Bistro, knowing what to expect, and just what I want on the familiar above average hotel menu. Tonight’s lodging was no exception, but when you add the #trainingvideo level service I received from Marlene and Erin here I’ve already forgotten about the W. Bringing new meaning to “service with a smile” dinner tonight felt like hanging with two old friends. One of my favorite things about old friends too, is that they don’t skimp on pouring you a good drink. I was happy and comfortable, but not surprised as I had received that same fantastic beyond The Ritz level service at check in from Tennessee and Ty at the front desk. With a genuine sincerity and desire to serve that you just can’t teach these four young ladies have quadruple-handily changed my impression of an entire hotel brand. And yes, her name was “Tennessee”. Isn’t that cool? TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
