I am usually a huge fan of Marriott Courtyards, but this particular hotel needs a lot of work. I wish there was a way I could post pictures on here. If I could, it would show dirty, rusty mirrors in the sink area, a very poor caulking repair in the showers, torn screen that didn’t even work, broken latch on the sliding glass door and carpet that should have been replaced years ago. This was the second room I had moved to because the toilet in the first room didn’t work. How about the couch in the hallway on the first floor near the elevators with stuffing coming out. Not even close to the standards I would expect from a Marriott. This place needs a complete renovation. The staff was helpful and courteous. I’d give them 4 stars. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Shantel in valet was very friendly, courteous, well-organized and extremely knowledgeable of valet and the city! She made my stay extremely fun considering the circumstances with Covid-19. I really appreciated Shantel and Jamari in valet. Give them a raise!! Looking forward to returning to the city. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

This is the worst Courtyard I have ever stayed at! Service non existent. Lack of service blamed on COVID come on! Provide service or board the place up. We arrived to check into our guaranteed room at 5 pm. Waited for over 3 hours for a room. No housekeeping service on a multiple day stay! Unorganized and not clean. No matter what the rate don’t stay here. Bad bad place. Avoid it. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
Worst Courtyard Marriot
Aug 25th, 2020
This was the most disappointing stay at a Courtyard Marriot I have ever experienced. 3 out of the 4 staff members we encountered were not wearing a mask. You would think during the time of a pandemic that has crippled the hospitality industry, the staff would be following local guidelines and protecting their guests. I think the owners really need to take a look at the reviews of this place and actually look into their outdated hotel rooms. They are in major need of an update. The furniture is dated and uncomfortable. The mattress was lumpy and you could feel the springs. If you want a bad night's sleep, I would definitely recommend this place. They really need to reevaluate the soundproofing here. All night you could hear the people above/beside us, and if you stay on the front side, get used to hearing the traffic flying by at all hours of the night. The windows should be replaced so that they don't open or attempt to open to block out some of the sounds. The TV had about 7 channels, although the advertising claimed to have over 70. They were not in HD, so you could imagine the picture quality being pretty blurry. The guide was not interactive, it was like going back to the '90s and watching the TV Guide channel. When pulling on the bathroom door the handle fell off. There were stains all over the room, on the floor, and on the bedding. The room really lacked cleanliness. The sink was clogged. There were even stains in an unopened package of toilet paper, it looked like someone had opened it, used it, then wrapped it back up. That was the final straw that sent us heading for the door. The best part of this place is the location, but it definitely needs to be brought up to date to be where it is. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
Post covid review: dirty, no customer service
Aug 22nd, 2020
I had a pretty bad stay here. It’s definitely upsetting because when you stay at Marriot, it’s the brand you trust. Post covid- that trust is GONE. I got here yesterday - and left today. Thank god it was only one night. I’d never stay here again, and definitely don’t stay here post COVID: When checking in, the desk manager didn’t even tell me the total for my room when he asked for my card. Freaking annoying to have to ask questions like what are you charging? What was pre authorized when booking online? What charge is for pending incidentals? Yup. He said nothing. I didn’t even know what time checkout was. NO CUSTOMER SERVICE Then, getting to room. I see a bottle cap from someone else’s water bottle right near the head of my bed. GROSS. We’re in a pandemic. How is there no attention to detail? Are these rooms even being cleaned? Even worse— Sheets had a few stains on the bed. Made me grossed out overall. “You get what you pay for, “.... but when I’m paying 200 a night I expect premium service! So many other hotels for 130-150 a night also in the heart of historic district. Don’t bother with this place. I called down around 8:30 pm asking for a blanket to be delivered. I was told “I’m the only one here we can’t do that” Insisting that I could wait about an hour for it to be delivered (I’m wearing a towel and wet at this point), the person said nope... if I wanted it bad enough I could walk downstairs but no delivery. That was just the cherry on top of a bad stay. Keep in mind I paid 200 a night for a dirty bed... with a water bottle cap already there before my arrival... no thanks. What type of service is this? Save yourself and stay elsewhere!!! TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
