Great save!

I ended up staying at the Courtyard Atlanta while in town for a conference at the Westin, our room block was sold out and this hotel was in walking distance. I ended up liking the staff and the hotel in general more at the Courtyard than the Westin! The room was large, comfortable, updated and clean. The staff was amazing! One morning it was raining and the shuttle bus driver was quick to offer a ride up to the Westin, even at the early hour of 6 am! I would definitely recommend staying here! TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Rude housekeeping - Security door lock won’t keep them out

Stayed here for a Christmas party at the Buckhead Club due to the great location. Super nice staff at the front desk. Check in was quick and easy. Rooms are super small. The sofa is as close to the bed as you see in the pictures. It’s small and is a single sleeper only. Housekeeping started trying to enter our room at 9on Sunday am. No knock at the door - just shoved it open it but the security lock was on so they banged it a few times. Within 30 minutes our TV came on which was ver strange when the remote was on the desk across the room. At ten they were opening the door again, this time some type of metal tool was shoved inside cracked door as they tried to open security lock. Made us feel very violated and unsafe. Always Superb

I travel to Atlanta frequently on business...and while I can have my choice of hotels in Buckhead, I prefer the Marriott Courtyard. Not only are the rooms exceptionally clean, but the staff is outright friendly and accommodating. I can always get a smile and warm welcome from Tony Dixon at the front desk...and Food and Beverage Director Karin is hands on and sets new levels of exceptional customer service. Sheets had not been changed between guests

We travel to Atlanta frequently for business and this was the first and last time we will stay at this hotel. While the location is good and the front desk staff is really nice and welcoming everything quickly faded once we got to our room and got ready for bed. First we noticed that there were clearly some nasty "bodily fluid" stains on the white coverlet. Once we pulled down the covers, we noticed that the sheets had not been changed after the last guest checked out. Sheets were terribly wrinkled with a dirty mark on them and you could see two distinct body prints where the lasts guest had obviously slept. We contacted the front desk and insisted that housekeeping bring us new bedding, they apologized with no explanation and quickly sent up some new sheets and coverlet. I realize that they have a policy for only washing sheets every third day of your stay in an effort to reduce water usage, but obviously the housekeeping staff don't really pay attention to when one guest checks out and new ones are arriving. Sorry but that is just too gross. In terms of the room amenities it looks like they tried to remodel but rooms are still in disrepair - our sink bowl had a big crack in it, the bathroom grout didn't look like it had been cleaned in years and was terribly stained, a big hole on the wall near the bathtub with a really bad repair job, our mini fridge didn't work and although they say rooms have microwaves, ours did not have one. For the price you pay and the number of other quality hotels in the area I would recommend staying somewhere else. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Customer service as it used to be...really!

I am a Titanium Elite member of Marriott's Bon Boy rewards program (the highest level) yet my loyalty has been wavering of late due to a series of mediocre experiences. Then I experienced this hotel. Based on my experiences here, alone, my loyalty has been renewed with greater fervor. I am a guest as part of a 3-day training program being held here. In preparation for the training, materials are shipped to the hotel to my attention. I always sweat that the packages may not arrive. Without asking for it, last Friday I received an email from Mr. Ivan Surcy confirming the receipt of the shipment. Wow! I was stunned. I've led training in various Marriott properties across the country and no-one, not one time, has reached out to me in advance to a.) establish a point of contact and b.) give me peace of mind. Thank you, Ivan! When I checked in, I was greeted in a professional and gracious manner. Because of rate differences, I actually had 3 separate reservations to cover 5 nights. As soon as the staff saw this they immediately merged the reservation and made sure that the rate was accurate. I didn't even have to ask. The time this will save me during tax season will be much appreciated. Each day before during, and after the training, Ivan has reached out to me to ensure that all is in order. I feel that our business is so valued and actually means something; an all too rare business characteristic. The hotel itself has all of the amenities one could want. It is clean, welcoming and the rooms are modern. The staff here is exceptional. I have met staff in the elevator and walking through the entry who stop me to ask how my stay has been and whether there is anything that they can do for me. These folks don't know me from any other guest and yet they treat me as if I was a long-time friend. Location cannot be beat. Within a 5-minute walk there are restaurant choices to satisfy every taste. More importantly, they aren't all chains. Most are local/regional dining establishments that provide excellent cuisine with lots of healthy choices. If shopping is your thing, you are less than 5 minutes from Lenox Mall, Phipps Plaza, and a plethora of small local retailers. The hotel provides a free shuttle serving a 2 mile radius around the hotel. The drivers make you feel as if you are the only guest they have to serve. You are also just a couple of blocks from a MARTA station. In addition to Ivan, I would be remiss if I didn't talk about Rochelle, a member of the in-house Bistro staff. Think of your favorite relative who you can always look to for a smile and a genuine welcome...that's Rochelle. On one morning, a challenging one, I was after my morning coffee and was stuck in my own head...thinking the whole day would follow the bad start. Rochelle totally turned my frown upside down. She had no idea of my attitude at that moment but her enthusiasm and eagerness was the whack upside the head that flipped my day. If you are visiting the Buckhead area, stay here!
