Three of us checked in - 3 of us had to get new rooms because of a moldy smell. One colleague had bugs in her room and had to check out. The TVs didn’t work right. The gym was disappointing, dirty equipment and NO AIRCONDITIONING. The elevators aren’t air conditioned and about 100 degrees. The power went out for 30 minutes while showering in the morning. The food was inedible. How do you screw up meatballs? Do NOT stay here!!! TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
Great Staff, Property Showing its Age

The front desk staff is friendly and extremely helpful. When our first room wasn't satisfactory, they quickly moved us to a better room. When that room lacked enough linen for the pull-out sofa, they again apologized and promptly presented additional linen. This staff is great and doing better than most hotel front desk staffs, but the property itself is showing its age. In the rooms, it's hard to find the light switches with the lamp and light upgrades, and there's no exhaust fan and hair dryer in the bathroom. The courtyards are nice, but they too could use a bit of tender loving care. My compliments to the helpful, friendly staff. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
Reliable north Dallas location

I had lots of business in this area of town and canceled my Fort Worth Courtyard for this location. It did not disappoint. All the expectations I have for a Courtyard were met and yet it was conveniently located for North Dallas business appointments and tomorrow’s plane ride from DFW. My room upgrade included a microwave and refrigerator above the heater on the exterior wall. I don’t remember seeing that design in other Courtyard locations. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
Lack of empowerment to fix a atay

Checked into a smoky accessible room late evening. When asked to change the room, no room was available due to sell out. Front Desk agent admitted that the room was placed out of order earlier when I mentioned the smoke smell but said she was not “empowered” to do anything until the manager came in morning. Agent shared that she told management already about the smoke problem in room earlier due to another complaint. She was also not allowed to walk guest to a different hotel, as it was mentioned the hotel was a Marriott “franchise” and they don’t offer it to guests anymore. The only option was to stay or as she suggested “call Marriott customer service”. As it was midnight with an early wake up, that was not an option. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

We were in town looking at the possibility of moving to Texas. The hotel staff was amazing! We had a concern with our room that was promptly and happily fixed. Room was comfortable and relaxing after long days of looking at land. Thank you! TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
