City view king

Feb 7th, 2020

I am a loyal Marriott customer with platinum elite status. Booked a deluxe city view room, pictures on line were quite nice. Checked in to receive a corner room with a view of an alley with dumpsters and drug deals. Terrible light, pillar awkwardly placed in the room and no art to improve the space. Pictures speak for themselves. Valet is very expensive, when I asked about options I was told self parking was “quite far”. Used the valet only to find out free street parking was in front of the hotel. When I asked after I checked in if I could take my car (which was less than 20’ away) out of valet I was told no as it was already billed to my room. Would not stay here again as there are many other nice Marriott properties in Denver. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Vacation

Nov 13th, 2019

We had such a good experience at the beginning of our stay here when we came back two weeks later we stayed again. Staff inside and out were very professional. Very helpful valet who even though we just needed to pick up luggage to leave and also drop luggage off when we needed to drop off our rental car. Front desk was very knowledgable and what was in the area. Since it is on 16th St there is a free bus you can ride the whole length. Stayed on the 4th and 5th floors and noise level was minable. They do not do breakfast but there is a restuarant right next door or plenty of choices in the area. Rooms were nice. There is a self serve laundry and business center. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Not very nice

Nov 8th, 2019

It is older with some very bad smells and small rooms and thin walls. They try to cover smells with terrible perfume deodorizer sand cleaning agents. We are platinum and our room has a cracked wall in the shower small sink so two people can’t put toiletries and just overall sad. Microwave on its last leg. Rooms face Inner courtyard inside hotel with no natural sunlight very bad for sleeping. Take a room with an outside view or better yet stay elsewhere. Even sitting near fireplace cleaners spraying chemicals to clean at 5 pm. Give it a break I can’t take breathing those noxious fumes. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Older Remodeled Hotel - Thin Walls

Sep 18th, 2019

So as far as the hotel being decent to stay in, its okay. Nice lobby with a Starbucks in it and its on 16th Street which is convenient Issue is - its old do the walls are thin so like any other neighbor, if yours goes to bed at a decent hour your sleep will be great and if they party until daylight you also have no choice but to stay awake until daylight Our neighbors in 326 decided to have intercourse all evening and into the morning until daylight which more power to them; however, the lady certainly had some lungs - we didn’t get a wink of sleep We definitely will not stay here again on the off chance we get booked again next to a pair of married lovers away from home 👍🏼😊 TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Noisy

Sep 2nd, 2019

Although we were on the fifth floor, the drumming street performers below kept up their racket all evening until 10 p.m. Make sure to get a room away from the street and as high up as possible if you intend to turn in earlier than 10. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
