Exellent service, perfect location, great room that was comfy and quiet

Jun 23rd, 2019

We were in town for Strawberry Days and some hiking. The check in was very quick - despit at least parties coming all at once. We got a great room on the second floor. There were three of us (2 adults and a kid) and we got a lovely room that faced east where we could see the river. It was a kid bed with a pull out sofar and everyone was very comfortable. The amenities were nice and the room was obviously newly updated. My son had a great time at the indoor pool which was fun and open unti 11. The Iron Mountain Hot Springs were fairly close (and you could see them from the hotel). Across the street was the shuttle for Hanging Lake which was very convenient. To the west was a shopping center with bakeries and Target and all kinds of shops. It was a very convenient location and it was easy to get to everywhere we wanted to go. We spoke to the front desk staff several times while we were there and they were very friendly. We asked for an extra blanket for the roll away and service was very quick! Breakfast in the morning was made to order, a full egg/toast/sausage/potatoes breakfast, cereal/milk, hot chocolate. freshly made oatmeal and bacon along with some orange juice (breakfast for 3) was $40. It was a little on the pricey side but it was excellent and the service was excellent. We get a great stay and would gladly stay here again.. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Great location and excellent front desk staff

Jun 7th, 2019

We arrived early and were able to get into our room, and it was excellent. Very clean and comfortable beds. We used the hotels discount for the Iron Mountain Hot Springs, and played the fun mini golf, and visited the firefighter memorial. Tesla e-car chargers are right there. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Sometimes you make a bad choice of hotels...

Mar 17th, 2019

Based on our experience... No one at front desk upon arrival. Very noisy. Loud buses run behind building. Loud door closures. We could hear people walking above us and could hear their bed squeak every time they rolled over all night long. Exit sign in hallway was falling off the wall. Shower had a lot of mold and wallpaper was coming off the wall. Mountain view as told by front desk? We had view of lower outdoor berm. No typical breakfast served. Neither of us know how to even describe the cheap shower head. Outside of building appears rather new. Then, when entering, we saw the worn and dirty entrance. Yes, we should have left then. The inside is not at all what one would expect. Dusty and carpets not clean. No microwave in room. Can use dirty microwave near front desk? Snack area at front desk was dusty and dirty. Sheets/comforter were simply placed on top of the bed. Time to replace the mattress. Unable to connect to wifi until IT called. Next morning we were once again unable to connect to wifi. Love seat in room is of poor design for posture/back support and extremely uncomfortable. Front desk staff could dress more appropriately - we didn't want to see all that. Plug-ins in lamps are not tight and didn't work. Hope this helps fellow travelers... TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Great Renovated Room on the 4th Floor

Feb 17th, 2019

Not certain all the rooms have been remodeled but definitely request one or a room in the 4th floor. Our room had a large walk in shower. There is a small in room fridge and coffee maker. The bed was really comfortable. No free breakfast. There is an on site restaurant. The breakfast burrito was good. We took it to go and enjoyed it with our complementary in room coffee. We would definitely stay here again when traveling to Glenwood Springs. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

beautiful newly renovated hotel in the heart of Glenwood Springs

Jan 13th, 2019

My husband and I loved our king room with the large comfortable couch on the 2nd floor. We slept well and thought the design of the room was one of the best for a cozy stay in a Marriott. The breakfast was not free but they had a lot of gourmet breakfast items to choose from in a stylish bar area type setting Overall we highly recommend this hotel for a excellent stay in Glenwood Springs...
