We stayed here one night before our cruise. Hotel was clean and room was just as described. Lots of room. The bed was super comfortable. We will stay here again for sure. KeKe at check in/check out was very nice and helpful. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

First visit here and a very nice property. It is located a block or two form the convention center which was work home for 4 days. Lots of places to eat at within walking distance with a number right across the street. This property is in a very old building and has a cool but strange setup. Lot's of zig zagging at times. I did not get a chance to eat at the bistro but note they do not open until 6:30 am which is a half hour later than most properties. My room was comfortable and plenty spacious. Seemed like they may be one remodel behind but still nice. The staff were awesome during my entire stay. I will for sure stay here again! TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
Convenient and Easy

I stayed two nights at this location. The room was exactly as promised, though I was slightly disappointed that there was no small refrigerator in the room. On the hallway was an alcove with a microwave if you needed to reheat something and that was nice though I am accustomed to having that simple amenity in my room. I was on the 4th floor and the view of the pool and hot tub and gardens below was very nice. There was nothing wrong at all with my stay; I was just a little disappointed it didn’t have what seems to be customary in many hotels. Staff was very nice and the lobby was extremely comfortable. Location to restaurants and the convention center was ideal. Valet only for parking so I parked in a residential area for free and Uber’ed to the hotel. I would stay there again if needed. Requested early check in, check in around 10:00 AM no problem. Room was clean and quiet. Requested a ride back to airport, they got me there with a great deal. The lobby was a great place for my family to gather. not everyone stayed here, but we did gather there. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
Better Marriott Options elsewhere in New Orleans
Feb 25th, 2020
Stear Clear of this property. It may look nice on the outside, but inside, my room 207 we had peeling wall paper in the room and the ceiling in the bathroom was falling in. Terrible patch job. The room smelled musty too, the AC worked well, the TVs are nice, but they are not the newer ones that are programmed to welcome you, as a Marriott Guest. No bluetooth option either. Pool looked nice, but it was Winter and chilly. The chairs outside looked ratty and ragged. Oh and check your bill! They charged me an extra night and then said "we will remove any extra fees once your bill is processed" so I have an extra $300 charge sitting on my bill waiting for them to process it. Nice huh? They don't tell you this when you book your hotel. I'm a Marriott Platinum Member and this is how they treat the members in the Marriott family. Its garbage and the staff are poorly trained, they claim I asked for 4 towels at midnight when we were checking out, the staff would not leave so we had to call security to have the man removed. Not safe and creepy. Go elsewhere, they need to pay better attention to the rooms especially 207. It could use a makeover and updates are needed. You cannot even turn on the lights by the bed without breaking a nail. FIX THIS STUFF, the little things! TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
