Excellent Hotel

Aug 17th, 2019

Great location, perfect for City break or work trip. Room is a good size, great gym and facilities. Close to bars/restaurants. Staff super helpful, good menu but staff also had brilliant restaurant and bar tips. Will say again for sure TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Good hotel but far from attractions

Aug 15th, 2019

The hotel was clean and accommodating but way too far from central new York. A taxi or the metro is needed to get around. No concierge to help tourists however computers were a available or look things up by yourself. Do not use hotel appointed “non yellow” taxis as they are a rip off. Stick to the yellow ones. Non yellow cabs pay the doorman for special treatment and charge you more. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Very disappointing!!!

Aug 14th, 2019

I booked directly with the hotel a Grand Times Square View room which I paid immediately a couple weeks ago . The day I arrived, yesterday, I had no room. They put me in a room overlooking the Hudson River. The next day, today, they gave me a room without a view of Times Square. As the hotel room description does not say what is the difference between Grand Times Square View and Times Square View I was careful to ask who was told me by message, that the Grand Times Square View was between 55 and the 65th floor. I chose this hotel precisely because of the room. Nothing else! I’m a travel Blogger that give travel feedback from my travels and hotels around the world and I need same nice photos, and besides is my birthday tomorrow and everything was important. I'm on the 42nd floor (4205) in a room with no view of Times Square. Not good. And they seem that to be doing me a favor by giving me this room???? The hotel doesn't work and I travel a lot around the world. Very disappointed! TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

One of my all time favorites

Aug 11th, 2019

This hotel is definitely one of my all time favorites. I have been there more than 10 times and I would do it again and again. The location is just wonderful, you are a few minutes walk from Times Square, Central Park and Broadway. You also get wonderful room views almost any room you get. The rooms are not necessarily the most spacious but they are very luxurious, beds are excellent, TV sets are wonderful and the bathrooms are quite nice. The hotel is relatively new and very well maintained. The staff is friendly and very helpful. There is a gym on the 35th floor with lovely views, there is also a laundry room with complimentary detergents to use (you pay for washing and drying though). It can be considered a relatively expensive hotel and you can actually find cheaper stuff around the same area, but I guarantee you that it is a wonderful hotel within the money range. Typical.

Aug 9th, 2019

This is a typical courtyard. Nothing special and nothing especially bad. The rooms are fairly clean and the staff is friendly, but seem constantly overwhelmed with the huge number of guests that stay here. There is a decent coffee shop and quiet place on the fourth floor. Every guest room I have stayed in has been tiny, but reasonably priced. This is not a destination hotel, but a hotel located in a destination. Close to the Broadway theater district and too many restaurants to count. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
