I stayed at this hotel for 9 nights while working a tennis tournament. It is a very clean establishment with nice sized rooms and a decent breakfast. Most impressive was the shower with plenty of hot water and outstanding water pressure. The staff absolutely exceeded my expectations. VERY courteous and helpful. You could get a van to drive you to 6 or 7 restaurants in the area. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Super clean hotel with a great staff

This was our first time traveling during the COVID-19 pandemic and we chose Marriott due to their cleanliness standards. All areas of the hotel, including our room were super clean and there were social distancing measures in place. Brooks at the front desk was very friendly and helpful throughout our stay. This hotel is also very convenient to the RDU airport and the interstate. The Bistro restaurant was closed due to COVID-19, but the hotel offered a free continental breakfast with pre-package food, orange juice and coffee service which was nice. We enjoyed the nice outdoor seating area with tables and a firepit. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Triple check if you need a shuttle. We double checked and we didn’t get a seat

The bed was fine, hotel clean , blah blah blah, but the entire reason we stayed at this hotel was so instead of driving the hour we live from the airport, we could stay nearby to catch an early shuttle. The weather was sketchy and it seemed safer since our flight was super early. We called and were assured we could get a 3:30 am shuttle. When we checked in the guy at the desk confirmed the 3:30 am shuttle verbally. He asked if we wanted a wake up call and we said no. Fast forward to the next morning. We’re in the lobby at 3:20 am and no shuttle driver. The woman at the desk said that he doesn’t arrive until 4. She said she had no indication we had asked for a 3:30 am shuttle (although she saw a wake up call for 3:40!) and the 4 am shuttle was full since we hadn’t asked for seats on that one. Wasted $, wasted time and while we sit and wait for an Uber we are hoping we don’t miss our flight. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Good hotel to crash before the airport

We stayed here for a night before going to the airport. The hotel was redecorated a few years ago and looks nice, the shower was strong and the best was comfortable. This is one of the older properties for courtyard so don’t expect a brand new building, but it’s been taken care of. I’d stay again if I was coming through town. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Good hotel and staff

This hotel is a bit better than other courtyards that I have stayed at in the past. The lobby is a bit small but still very comfortable. The hotel is located within minutes of the airport. I would say that the best part of the hotel is the staff. They are very nice and caring. I was with my daughter's soccer team and they did an unbelievable job just getting everything we needed. The hallways are a little dated and the elevator definitely could be upgraded. The gym was nice for a hotel gym and the rooms are well appointed. The main reason I gave the hotel four stars instead of five were their environmental practices. Marriott has put a lot of environmentally friendly practices into place including giving points for not changing linens and towels every day as well as many other things. This hotel did not add to these environmentally friendly practices but actually detracted. They do not recycle plastic water bottles, they have styrofoam plates for breakfast and many other practices that could reduce their "footprint". I do hope that they change these practices.
