Good spot for business travel

Jul 7th, 2019

The hotel is within easy travel distance to both Redmond and Seattle. They offer both an a la carte and buffet breakfast offering. And the heated pool is a great way to start your day. They also have an on-site bar to round off your day. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Great Place to Stay

Jun 6th, 2019

Went here during Memorial Day Weekend. We enjoyed our stay. Booked this hotel via Southwest Vacations. • Area: Bellevue is swankier sister of Seattle. It’s fancy, and has branches of restaurants that recommended in Seattle. Right across the hotel is a fancy mall with stores like Prada and Hermès. • Amenities: Despite liking a nice hotel, I’m cheap in other areas. They have a drinking fountain in the restrooms in ground floor and in the gym. They have coin laundry in every floor. They have refrigerator inside the room. They have a communal microwave in every floor. WiFi is free and accessible in your room. The bed is comfortable but sturdy enough to my liking. They have a sofa bed if you have friends who got too drunk and want to crash for the night. The restroom is not soundproof because I hear people in the hallways and next door, but the bedroom area itself is soundproof. I can see why reviewers complained about the air conditioning unit noise, but we put it in 70 degrees so it didn’t go on that much. The lobby was comfortable to lounge at. We were able to check-in earlier at 1pm. We were also able to drop our bags after checkout so we can explore more, and come back for our bags before we fly back. They were quick to give me the extra pillows I requested. There’s also a mini convenience store behind the front desk. All the drugstores and convenience stores in Bellevue close at 10pm (wth?!) so it was convenient to get what you need there like NyQuil. • Nearby Food: I highly recommend French Bakery for prosciutto and fig panini and excellent coffee for breakfast, which is located in the Chihuly Building. Just go behind the hotel, and Chihuly Building is right there. Eques has excellent salmon eggs benedict, but coffee is sub-par. I’ve heard of the fanciest hot pot place ever in the mall across the street, but I didn’t go. I went to Japonessa for happy hour fusion sushi, and Taylor’s Seafood for oysters and Dungeness crab. There’s also good boba in Coco, which is basically in the hotel premises. • Transportation: Couldn’t say about parking. We took mostly buses getting to and from Seattle. The bus is almost an hour ride to and from Seattle, and to and from the airport. Bellevue Transit Center is your stop, and is just 5-10 mins walk from the hotel, depending on how fast you walk. There’s an ORCA card machine in the transit center so we stopped by there everyday to reload for a day pass. The buses come regularly, except during the holiday and after midnight. We took Lyft going to Space Needle because we have a timed day ticket. Then we almost missed the last bus heading back to Bellevue so run like Cinderella to avoid a $20-$30 Lyft ride. I would stay there again if we go back to Seattle, especially we have friends who live there. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

HIgh Quality - Very Comfortable - Well Located

Jun 4th, 2019

This was a business trip to Bellevue, WA to visit a Vendor. The hotel was well located within walking distance of hotels and malls. The hotel itself is very clean and the decor is modern. Reception had barely a delay and the staff was friendly and efficient. My room was supplied as per my Mariott profile and was exactly as expected. Room and Bathroom amenities were well laid out and comfortable. Television was good quality with enough local, median and premium channels. Wifi was sufficient for low bandwidth applications, did not attempt any streaming. The food court and bar were well laid out and neat, Food an drink choices were good, however, breakfast is not free, which is normal for Courtyard, Single breakfast ran around $23 with gratuity, beverages are extra. Checkout was quick and without incident, charges were as per the booking. Overall stay was good, no complaints. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Great room

May 28th, 2019

Just stayed for one night in a King room with a whirlpool tub. It was wonderful! Bed, was very comfortable. I chose this hotel for the jacuzzi in the pool after seeing hotel pics but when we got to the pool, THERE IS NO Jacuzzi!! To add to my dismay, there was a lot of hair in the pool just floating & on the floor around the pool. This is a lovely hotel with a Starbucks one stair down, but they need to clean the pool.
