Good location for us

Apr 3rd, 2020

The hotel was in a good location near our event. Secure pay underground parking is available or you could do street parking. We only stayed for one night. The room was standard and the bed was comfortable to sleep in. No issues. Friendly reception. We had a view of colorful accommodations at the social housing property next door, which I was actually impressed with. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Good Value Views

Feb 13th, 2020

We stayed in Seattle for one night in October with our two year old. The location of the Courtyard Marriott is great with a good view of Lake Union which we were upgraded to by the great reception staff. Our son loved watching the floatplanes taking off and landing from our room. The lobby is bright, open and modern. And the bar had a good selection of good drinks. Our room didn't quite live up to this and were a bit dated in decor, but still clean and spacious. The bath/shower specifically could be improved. We used the secure parking under the hotel, but we were told by the reception staff that free overnight street parking was available over the road. We'd recommend this hotel as a good value base in SLU. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Satisfied

Jan 29th, 2020

Front desk staff was polite and efficient. I liked the room decor and set up. They had signs apologizing for noise associated with construction/upgrading, but I never heard or saw anything to indicate there was any work going on. Location was convenient for walking to downtown, taking transit. There is a great paved path along the lake right outside the front door. Lots of walkers and runners going by. We had a room that faced an apartment block on the side. Quiet except when our neighbors arrived back at 2 am. The Bistro breakfast choices had a good variety of choice. Had the avocado toast - everything very fresh and tasty, beautifully presented. Crispy toast just right. Would stay here again. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Some nice touches in this hotel

Jan 7th, 2020

First of all, it is a Courtyard. So there are many things you cannot expect from this place. We chose it for the convenience of the location and we were there on a weekend, so traffic in the area was not an issue. They are in the process of remodeling so be sure to ask for a room far away from the noise. We had a top floor room at the end of the hallway facing the water and it was really nice and quiet. Decent sized room with a comfortable bed but the pillows were really oversized so a bit too much for us. The bath is split so you have the tub/shower and toilet in one room and the sink outside the door. They easily could have put a sink next to the toilet and kept the one outside - would make it much better for two people trying to get ready as the counter space is quite small. But everything was clean and the room itself was a decent size with a desk/chair and small couch. Staff was very friendly and helpful and the restaurant/bar area was spacious. We had a very good breakfast - not included - but good choices and prepared well and tasty. Self-parking is an additional $35 a night for in/out. Our daughter used a pack and play which arrived clean with a clean sheet and small blanket. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Lots of great and some problems

Dec 23rd, 2019

The hotel is in a great location, the breakfast is wonderful and the atmosphere is really nice. We don't think our room had been cleaned thoroughly. We found a pacifier on the floor, long black hair in the bathroom, and dirty dishes in the cupboard. They did come and clean right away when asked but did not apologize which seemed strange. The rooms were affordable but we were surprised parking was $37 with two taxes added on so it was over $45 a night for parking. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
