My family and I have stayed here since 2007. And I've enjoyed. Staying here.unit today. They have a community. Porch dad has access to barbecue grills. And picnic tables asking the maintenance supervisor if we could use one of the barbecue grills. Leader of you. He said we would have to wait until him and his friends were done. We prepare the food. And waited to one of the grills are open. Then we came down to cook our food. And he approached me saying he did not like my attitude. Of how we in cringed? On him and his friends cookout and under the assumption that we were guests in this Motel. Did we had every right to use the patio and the grill? I was met with the circumstance of you need to leave here until we're done by the maintenance supervisor. I told him. We could take her food back and we could leave tonight. And his verbal response was I don't care. That's up to you. You can do what you like. If this is how the maintenance supervisor treats guest he's a representative of Creekside lands Inn. Then I probably will not be staying here at all. Again until he is no longer here. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

We stayed at Creekside for Labor Day weekend with our four-year-old. The website said continental breakfast was included which we love as a family because it saves a good bit of money/allows us to spend a little more on dinners eating out on vacation. The breakfast was shut down due to COVID-19. I am fine with this precaution, but I am not fine with advertising breakfast is included on your website and then it is not. Be up front about what someone is spending their hard earned money on when booking your stay. When I told the manager this should be fixed on their website, he told me there are signs all over the property saying breakfast is not being served due to COVID. I pointed out the ignorance of his response by telling him it is impossible for me to see these signs from the comfort of my home where I booked my reservation online like EVERY other guest does when reserving a hotel room. Have you ever toured the property of a hotel prior to booking your stay? I haven't. The website also states King Rooms comes with a sofa. We were planning on our four-year-old sleeping on this sofa. Our idea of a weekend getaway does not include being kicked in bed by a four-year-old all night. Those of you reading this that have young children know exactly what I mean. When we told the front office that our room did not have a sofa, they said they don't have any rooms with this accommodation. I explained to the manager this is false advertising and once again told him he should fix his website so consumers know exactly what they are paying for when they book a room at his hotel. The manager was a keyboard warrior and wouldn't even speak to me in person even though he was on the property. What a cowardly way to handle customer service. The manager also offered no resolution or discount even though we paid for accommodations we didn't receive. It's hard to believe it gets worse than this, but it does. The hotel was something else! We found dead roaches on the floor when we arrived. There were remnants of marijuana all over the dock every night we were there. We booked this hotel because we had stayed in it many years ago (without any issues I might add) and loved the little dock in which you can fish off of or throw a crab pot in and play with crabs. We thought our little boy would love this, however, it was hard to take him out there with the marijuana roaches sitting on the railing of the dock each night. The swimming pool was nice, but you need a towel to be able to swim. We had to beg for new towels and were told twice they didn't have any. One of those times he did have some, but said they were so stained he didn't want to give them to us. Gross! The other time we were told it was a trade out service (trade your dirty towels for clean). We left our dirty towels in front of our door hoping they would leave clean ones in a bag on the door because we had seen several rooms with clean ones hanging on the door in a bag the day before. We had our "do not disturb" sign up which is why we left the dirty towels in front of our door when we noticed the maid was coming around. She took them, but didn't leave new ones. When we called to get the new ones is when we had to beg. We told the man at the front desk they didn't leave new ones and that we had no towels to shower with. They reluctantly gave us some towels at that point. What a joke! My family will NEVER stay here again and I would highly advise anyone I know not to book a room here. Oh, and I almost forgot - the maintenance manager who lives on site was cracking open beers at 8am right in front of the guests. Needless to say, I would give zero stars if I had the option. Oh my! This place was only a place to sleep for us. My husband's first impression was almost laughable. We were checking in, the door was unlocked, no one was at the desk so he went into the office. The lady yelled at him that he couldn't be in the office. He told her she needed to lock the door then! The bed was comfortable and the room felt clean. It was nice not having carpet but floor was dirty (after checking out my feet!) There was a microwave and fridge. The hand towel hook was gone; only one tiny bar of soap was supplied for both the tub and sink. A funny (important) tidbit we discovered the next day is that the cleaning people will only clean the room if you seek them out (🙄) and request it. Well, we weren't around to do that so we had to get our own towels. At night, the pool is a popular place and I don't blame anyone for that because holy crap, it's blazing hot here!! However, some of the guests are residents and hang outside their rooms smoking and socializing. Some even are enjoying some Mary Jane. 😉 One night a drunk resident banged on our door, yelling. She did this twice. Apparently another guest had backed into a car and she wanted the owner to be aware. We were also under the impression that breakfast was included but due to covid, it was not, understandably. My husband asked about coffee and the lady said we could get outside of our room ?? Room service?? Ha The windows are covered with shutters which are a nice touch but they don't block out the light 100%. Difficult to sleep. Also our TV had lines down the center of the picture. Nice location. Nice sunset. Nice A/C. Weird vibe. Loud loud loud on the weekend. Dirty. Weird check in. Second story ice machine doesn't work. Ice bucket smelled like Fritos. But you get what you pay for. This is a 2 star motel so BEWARE! TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

I stayed for business but was glad to check in and have a nice outdoor area to enjoy. The dock was cool to go out and look at the water or even fish or crab. I think the pool was closed with covid going around but they have an outdoor pool as well. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Cool pier and pet friendly caught a bunch of crabs and some awesome fish I would recommend this to anyone looking for a peaceful and clean room!!!!! Also there is a cool bar next door to get some good food and beer TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
