Enjoyed my stay

Oct 25th, 2019

My husband and I and 2 friends reserved 2 rooms for a night. We checked in 2 hrs early due to me forgetting the time difference. They were great getting us in our rooms quickly the maid was still cleaning one of ours she walked us to ours opened the door and asked us to check that everything was ok and it was. The beds were so comfortable and overall for the price it was a great room. If your expecting a 5 star hotel for 60 bucks a night in Nash ille don't stay here. If you want a comfortable, clean, fairly priced room then this is a great place. We all were very happy and plan on coming back for a longer stay. Thank you to all employees an management for all you do. My only complaint and it's a small one is i couldn't get coffee till 730 and i had to get up at 3am lol TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

The room was not clean. Stains on bedspreads. The floor was not mopped. I don't recommend this place. Pay a little more. This is now non smoking,, yet room still stinks like stale tobacco smoke. Room was not ready at 4pm. The location is fair, you have to driver into town. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Hotel is near a Bus Stop, the airport and only 15 minutes from downtown

Jul 14th, 2019

I was attending a Longarm Quilting class over the weekend. I missed seeing the sign as it was back from the road and hidden by trees and other signs along the way. In order to get to the motel, please note that IT is at the REDLIGHT at Glengarry one block west of Briley Parkway. I called to get directions and Kevin was very pleasant and gave me directions when I couldn't find it. Once I got there, he checked me in and I went to my room. It was very smokey smelling even though it was a non-smoking room. I had explained I was allergic to smoke and requested the non-smoking room when I checked in. Kevin was very apologetic and agreed to put me in another room. He actually walked me to my room to check it out with me. When he opened the door, a strong odor of cooked food from the previous tenant was present and he was prepared to take me to another room. I told him I could handle the smell of food, smoke was what got me. I got my stuff in the room and the remote was missing. I went to the office to let Kevin know and a remote was brought to me within 5 minutes. The staff was very nice to me. This is an older extended stay motel and for those who are expecting a world class experience with all the perks of a resort or 5 star hotel, you will be disappointed. There is no breakfast bar or shampoo, but there is soap, toilet paper and towels as well as bedding. Mine were all clean. I did not see any bugs in my room. I checked as bugs freak me out. Yes, there were people in and out and some stood in the parking lot, but it seemed like the usual going and coming like most motels. It was clean and the food odor dissipated after I sprayed a little fabreeze which I always have in my car and have had to use at other motels. Yes, it is not in the best neighborhood, but... it is not right against the road, it is up a hill behind a bunch of trees which completely surround it as well as a fence which having the trees there also helps keep the traffic noises down. The bus stop is within walking distance and I left my car there on Saturday when I took the bus downtown to take my class so I wouldn't have to pay for $20 parking. No one bothered it. I went to Opry Mills Mall and it only took a short drive of maybe 15 minutes, but there wasn't a lot of traffic. It might take more if it was. The airport was just around the corner and you could get there within 2 or 3 minutes. I did not notice a lot of air traffic from it, I used to live near Dallas and there was constant air traffic noise, not here. My room was on the first floor. No one bothered me. A lady was outside her no smoking room smoking a cigarette and said hi to me. Anyone I passed when walking to and from the bus stop was smiling and said hello. I did not feel unsafe and I was an older female there alone. While I was out, I called and asked for a wake up call as I hadn't noticed there wasn't a phone in the room. Luckily, my cell had a alarm on it, so I used it instead. All in all, I had a pleasant stay, the room was clean, the staff was friendly, the TV and air conditioning worked as it was really hot outside, and the fridge worked great as I kept my drinks and some food in there. It is not the Hilton, but you get what you pay for, an affordable room with a fridge, stove top, microwave and kitchenette area, a small table and 2 chairs, a TV, nightstand, bed and dresser which close to major locations. But for the price difference from the downtown motels, it was worth it to me. Thank you. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Wife and I booked this hotel that was relatively cheaper than most hotels in the area, however we walked in and left our room within 5 minutes due to how filthy it was. I demanded a refund and got one. The only good thing was the receptionist was very apologetic, however I’m not sleeping in a dump. Outside is very nice, but is deceiving. Seems to have drug activity in this area as well. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Nasty nasty nasty

Bugs crawling everywhere, the last persons dirty socks still left behind the door. They were trying to check me in quickly as they closed so I wouldn’t notice. BAD MANAGEMENT. WORSE CLEANLINESS . People smoking and drinking all over the place in front of the hotel. Non smoking room smelled like a cigarette. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
