Another Great Stay

Once again Erin Rose and her staff made for a comforting night’s stay. This is our hotel of choice for our 1st & last stop when traveling from Florida to New York to visit family and friends - we have stayed here 6 times now, does that tell you how great it is?? Traveling during this time of COVID-19 has everyone on edge, but we knew we would be taken care of by these competent and friendly workers. We were barely out of our car when Jose came out and asked if we needed any help and quickly brought a luggage cart and helped us unload. (lots of extra items when traveling with a dog) Tom, at the front desk, quickly checked us in and before we knew it we were safely in our clean and comfy room. (thanks to Marcela). Our stay at the Crowne Plaza was excellent. We have been hesitate on traveling due to the COVID pandemic. The front desk was very friendly and attentive. Check in was quick and easy with Kieran. We felt very safe in the hotel with the COVID precautions they are taking. Our room was very clean and our stay was pleasant for the short time we were there. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

My wife and I stayed here with our newborn son a few weeks ago and enjoyed our one night stop over. We live about three hours away and usually drive to and from Charlotte in one day but with a newborn we figured a stop over would be easier. I am an IHG Platinum member and got a room upgrade on arrival. This is usually very welcomed but in this case I asked for them to downgrade us to the room I booked. I had booked a room with two beds which is just easier while traveling with a newborn and was upgraded to a king suite. No big deal and the front desk took care of my request quickly! The beds were very comfortable and provided us with a good nights rest. We also enjoyed the pool. We took our son in with us for his first pool experience which he also loved! My concerns were addressed to the corporate office as well as the management office and their poor service from housekeeping. With the rudest housekeepers, to disarming connection through the guest phone in the hotel room, to not call downstairs for assistance to refusing to replace the register paper so that I can have a receipt after my purchase for peace of mind. Not only were we given poor service out of thousands of hotels I've had the pleasure of staying as a guest, did not offer complimentary breakfast this also did not take place they did not offer us a discount. They simply disregarded and took full payment under a credit instead of a debit it was a horrible experience. I would never, as I will be making numerous trips to North Carolina in Charlotte ever suggest to anyone to stay at this hotel. Not to mention the reeking smell of marijuana in the hallways where there's a security officer on staff as well. I am truly disappointed to think this is an executive hotel is beyond me. When I asked at checkout will I be receiving a survey? The front desk employee plainly said we only send out surveys to IHG members. That was appalling to hear because I thought that ALL matter. Truly dissatisfied with the services at this hotel I will never ever experience that again Nor will I recommend a stay at this hotel. while we all know what's going on in the world regarding this pandemic, you would have thought that the services would have been a bit more professional than unprofessional. By disarming the extension to reach the front desk for any assistance whether it's towels what if I was handicapped and by myself then what quite disturbing I must say. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

I have been staying here for several months. I am always greeted warmly but in an professional manner. I am always asked how my room is and if I'm comfortable. I have even recieved a plate of fruit after arriving once and mentioning I had ran a 5k. They thought I might could use a little fuel. But since our nation has experienced the Covid 19 pandemic I have been made to feel welcome, so much so it is almost as nice as actually being home. In fact I might would say it is my home away from home and I say that sincerely. Tje staff is there for their guest and it feels like extended family. I appreciate them all and they each deserve to be recognized for the courtesy and devotion. Thank you for making is all feel at home. God bless each of you! TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
