Wonderful stay

Mar 4th, 2020

Checkin was super easy! I had separate stays due my stay was for business and leisure. Renee checked me in and had no difficulty at all with the separate stays. Renee is super friendly and informative during the checkin as well. Raeniece, Seymone, and Renee were all present during my check out. They are truly wonderful woman, they were concerned about my stay and ask if I enjoyed my time here in Dallas. I thought that was sweet of them. Thank you ladies for making me feel so welcomed and wishing me safe travels home. The bar and wait staff are pretty amazing as well! Mimi was super nicest the bar. I had dinner twice at the restaurant and Bobbie Anna (sorry if misspelled) and Juan helpful in ordering my evening meal. Delivered amazing service. Thank you all for an AMAZING STAY! I will definitely be back! TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Terrible and highly regretful

Mar 1st, 2020

Well it started off with no AC, overflowing toilet, false promised a free night, double charging me for my first night, rate increase without notifying me to make up for the fake free night and being threatened to have myself and my babies police escorted out of the room at 6 am for confronting management about the overcharging me. She told me that the $200 that I was charged my first day was just an Authorization and it will be returned to my bank account by Wednesday this week. Sad that those current front desk employees are so unprofessional they will run this beautiful child into the ground it's not my first day but it will be my last. Hundreds of people I spoke to throughout the weekend has some complained or another about the hotel and the staff TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Had a good stay. Just "good" though.

Feb 8th, 2020

We stayed here for a trip to Dallas a while back. The hotel was newly renovated at the time, room was nice. Amenities were good too (gym, pool, etc.) The only caveat to this place was that they said I'd be able to get a rollaway bed for the room but when I checked in they said it wasn't possible for a rollaway to be put in a room that already had two beds, so my friends and I ended up having to play musical beds for the whole trip. Overall a good stay though, not too expensive. Close enough to DFW and not too far from downtown or any other attractions. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Their website info stated they had an indoor pool and hot tub. When I called and specifically asked to make sure that they had an indoor heated pool and hot tub I was told that they did. I booked the room. My family could not swim because the pool was too cold (shivering cold) and there was no hot tub. Very disappointed because that was my whole reason for even staying in the hotel (I live within an hour of this hotel) so I didn't have to stay here. When I asked about it and the website info they said alll they could do is apologize and tell the GM. The rooms were beautiful and comfortable but my 3 grandkids had nothing to do. So for me it was a waste of money and the headache of finding other things to do and places to go. I was also told that the kids did not eat for free only the 2 adults....not true. It was like the person who took the reservation had no clue about the hotel. I called the hotel directly not through some other service. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Switched hotels within hours

Jan 27th, 2020

We arrived, checked in ok, we were put on the 7th floor. Walked into our room, it was a sauna in there, thermostat set to 90, poor circulation. We adjusted the thermostat and that takes time to kick in. Our toilet was malfunctioning before we ever got to use it, wasn't refilling properly and kept "running". We called for maintenance and it took nearly 90 min for them to arrive. He let us know that all elevators in the hotel were now out of service, including the service elevators. He had to use the steps from the 22nd floor to the ground floor to get the elevator key to get people out of the elevator that were stuck in it. We confirmed that all elevators were indeed out of service and another employee let us know that the service elevators had not been working for the past 3 months and 2 of the 4 guest elevators were ever in service at all. He even recommended we go to another hotel. Well we grabbed our things, walked down 7 flights to the ground floor, I decided to use the lobby bathroom before leaving. The stall door I utilized, the locking mechanism was swinging loose and holding on by 1 loose screw, went to wash my hands, neither towel dispenser had towels, one of them was even open showing it was empty. No resistance from front desk when we told them we were leaving, BUT when they ran our CC to "hold" for incidentals and the hotel was pre-paid, it was charged twice! That's currently in dispute - Horrible experience just in the first few hours! TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
