Great pre cruise hotel

Dec 5th, 2019

We booked two nights in the Crowne Plaza (pre cruise) to have a full day to get over our flights from the west of Canada (including a red eye). The hotel is convenient for both the airport and cruise terminal, the room was good and the bed was comfortable, check in was smooth, dinner and breakfasts were good, unfortunately a cold front came through so we didn’t get to enjoy what looked like a nice pool. Overall I would consider staying here again and have no problem recommending the hotel to anyone. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Okay Hotel in the Middle of Nowhere

Dec 5th, 2019

Stayed for one night. The room was adequate; I did not experience any of the problems described by some reviewers. The hotel was nothing really special. Fairly long wait checking in but not outrageously so. They did have a television in the waiting area, so that made it bearable. Location is NOT conducive to strolling around the neighborhood. This was apparent to me on the shuttle ride there. From my window I could see a gigantic Mercedes dealership next door and not much else. I would not highly recommend the property but wouldn't discourage anyone from staying there either. If you're looking for a hotel in proximity to the cruise port or airport, this would be a property to consider. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Not Great

Dec 4th, 2019

I asked for bath towels and was told to “go check by the pool” ... Seriously? Another guest ahead of me needed help but only spoke Spanish. The women at the front desk kept shouting... “NO SPANISH, ENGLISH!!” ... Very rude. And then, when that gentleman walked away, she was joking with the next guess saying “ENGLISH....” l don’t even speak Spanish and I felt embarrassed for the guy asking for help. The women then went in to say she was from Germany originally and speaks German and English. The whole situation was just very poor customer service. On the bright side, I know where NOT to stay the next time I’m in town. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

If you like your money, do not stay here

Dec 3rd, 2019

There is NO safe in these rooms and we had $300 stolen from us. It was the only place we had left our money unattended in the room and the only place someone came into the room when we weren't there to bring us a crib. The next morning, we realized our money was gone. All that was left were the $10's, $5's and $1's. All the $20's and $50's were taken. When my husband called the hotel their response was that this has never happened before and we need to submit a police report. We were on a cruise and had no time to go to the police before or after so now we are just out the $300.00. Never ever again will I trust my money outside of a safe. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
