Faithful

May 12th, 2020

This hotel is our stop en-route to our holiday and never fails. It's not The Dorchester, but it is everything that we need. A bit of Health Spa, pool, sauna, steam room etc. A decent bar and a very good Indian restaurant all on tap, and a holiday about to start...what's not to enjoy? We love it. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

A Bit Of A Laugh....

Apr 22nd, 2020

Stayed here with my wife sometime ago. Had booked a regular room and was an IHG Platinum Member. Also had paid for breakfast the next morning in the restaurant. We had arrived a bit later than expected - around 6pm. I had asked if we could be given an upgrade to a Club Room due to my IHG Platinum Status. We were finishing up our honeymoon as well. The manager said he couldn't (even though there were lots of vacant club rooms) but he allowed us to use the executive lounge - whose complimentary drinks service was only running for 15 mins. The executive lounge allowed us a free complimentary breakfast.....but we already paid for our breakfast buffet in the main restaurant. Very redundant and was quite meaningless. Airport parking deal

Apr 2nd, 2020

We stayed at this hotel for 1 night before going on holiday from Heathrow and left our car there while we were away. The hotel itself is OK, average rooms but the use of the gym and pool was a plus and the Indian restaurant onsite is good. However, we got back from holiday to pick our car up and it had been broken into. When you look at the car park it’s not that surprising given you are parking on verges next to the road with no fence. It’s not secure at all. Looking at previous reviews it seems this isn’t an isolated incident. I would stay at the hotel again but wouldn’t leave my car there, which was the whole point of the stay. They need to make the parking secure or it’s not fit for that purpose. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Best Option when travelling through Heathrow

Mar 16th, 2020

We always stay at the Crowne Plaza when we are travelling through Heathrow Airport. It guarantees that you are not panicking because there is a queue on the Motorways (what in England!!). The staff are always welcoming and the rooms are comfortable enough. All you do then is grab a Hoppa to your terminal and it is a painless start to your journey. It is also a good option when you return after a long flight as you are not faced with a road journey until the following day. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
