I booked a room here, as I do every year. I have had minor problems in the past, and one really great over the top experience. However my most recent stay on Saturday is making me question whether or not I will ever stay here again. I dropped off my rental car at the airport. At 1134 pm, I made my first call to the airport about a shuttle pickup. I was told the shuttle was on it's way. I called again at 1147 pm and was told the same. I called back at 1205 am again it is on it's way. Finally, at 1226 am I was told the driver went home at 1130 pm and I would have to take an Uber or Taxi to the hotel and the hotel would pay for it! THERE WAS NO TAXI IN SITE. I was able to get an Uber, I told the front desk clerk the cost of the Uber (18.45) he refunded me 10 and told me to take 2 bottles of water. I contacted customer care the next business day, only to be told on their website that it clearly states the shuttle stops at 1130 pm. They would create a case and forward to management. I have stayed at this property many times in the past and I am an IHG Gold Member. I feel insulted, not only by what happened but I how I was treated! TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

An absolutely terrible IHG property, they should lose their corporate flag. This hotel was terrible. Our room never got cleaned and we had to go get clean towels EVERY day of our stay. I would never stay at this hotel again. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

My wife and I checked in the hotel on Saturday (6/20/20) and due to check out on Wednesday (6/24/20). There was a problem with our billing info from the 3rd party company at check in. Unfortunately, my card was charged for items allegedly included with the third party billing. We went to Marshay at the front desk on Tuesday morning and she was not only professional in her handling of the matter, she was thorough and very pleasant. She worked hard to resolve our issues and pointed out the mistake made at check in. Her demeanor and manner at the front desk is exactly what is needed from more front line staff. As a former hotel manager, I look for certain aspects of customer service. She has it and she needs to be used to train other staff in the the art of dealing with issues that guests bring. Sometimes, we as guests come with very complex issues that may not even be the fault of the hotel. However, how you handle us in that stressful moment can be the difference between a great stay and a bad review. Well, Marshay hit this one out of the park. We are so glad that she was there to deal with us. The hotel was nice and the room was comfortable. But the highlight of your hotel was Marshay... and my wife loved the Starbucks too! DEPOSIT NOT RETURNED

We stayed there for three nights, and it would have been a pleasant stay that it was not for a deposit. When they charge you they say that it takes about 5 working days for a deposit to be returned, but now it is exactly 28 days and no deposit is returned. We have been in contact with them several times and each time they would lie:" do not worry, ... it will be next week,... next Tuesday,.... next Thursday,... " TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Great place to rest and relax with king size bed that any royal would find it's like sleeping on a could room service top notch I asked for sugar to sweeten my coffee and received a stack of various sweeteners just to make sure the bases was covered and they sent several different options if creamers just in case I found all staff members to be very friendly while remaining professional location is ideal close enough to shipping and major excursion to be seen while in DC also has parking structure at an additional cost well worth no street parking in such a major city TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
