Amazing Day Trip

May 15th, 2019

I arranged a day trip to the CuisinArt Golf Resort & Spa as I was staying on St. Maarten for a week vacation. From my initial phone call with Candance to the check out, the experience here was incredible. I wanted to arrange a golf day for my husband for a birthday surprise. I was able to pay for a 9am-6pm day trip at the CuisinArt Resort which included the room, breakfast, and access to everything I needed at the hotel. It also included a lower golf fee for my husband to play a round of golf as we were considered hotel guests. We arrived at the hotel at 9:00am and were greeted by a very friendly hotel staff. Check-in was very smooth and the girls at the front desk (I'm sorry I can't remember names) were so nice and helpful. We had a small wait for our room to be ready so we walked around the resort and headed down to the beach. Right away we were helped by beach staff and were set up with a spot with umbrellas, towels and chair covers. The beach is gorgeous, the water beautiful and calm to float around in.There is beach staff walking around during the day taking orders and making sure we had everything we needed. The umbrellas had little tables which doubled as coolers which we filled with ice and had were given plenty of bottles of Figi water to keep at our beach spot during the day. We had lunch at the beach bar and the food was delicious....I'm still dreaming of the Carib beer battered fish fillet which was amazing!! Our room was spectacular. HUGE bathroom, with walk-in closet, and a beautiful, clean, enormous room with a big balcony and an incredible view. We had a little plate set up with little candies, a little happy birthday note and a bottle of champagne. So thoughtful and detailed for guests who were only staying the day. Check out was quick and easy and the girls at the front arranged a taxi for us which was ready and waiting, however I didn't want to leave! I could go on and on about this amazing resort. The staff is wonderful, friendly and helpful, and that was every single person we encountered. The overall feel of the resort is very relaxed, safe, and family friendly, but also very quiet. The grounds, beach, and hotel are beautiful and clean, the rooms are gorgeous, and the food delicious. We will definitely be back but it will be a much longer stay! TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

With This Beach It Should Be A 5

May 10th, 2019

Second time back to CuisinArt, first post Irma for a week. There are a lot of +'s and -'s here. Pros: - Rooms obviously totally redone post Irma, upgrade furniture from the outdated wicker beach look previously but we were really confused by the under bed lighting on the dimmer switch as it gave a spaceship feel. - Staff as friendly and helpful as ever! - Free use of beach cruiser bikes was awesome because... Cons: - ...The breakfasts were less interesting and basic than a few years back at CuisinArt. How can you not have Johnny Cakes every day?!? Morning bike rides over to The Reef for breakfast was great, though it's a smaller but more quiet breakfast, followed by free use of snorkel gear(that's a Pro!). - Partly our fault for booking there around Easter but the place was crawling with kids. CuisinArt put in a new fancy kiddie playground/water park thing that I never saw any of the kids use--the kids were all in the hot tub the whole time so it's basically a heated kiddie pool, ick. Suggested to put in adult only hot tubs! - Don't bother with the Lobster Feast as they are more crayfish size and very stingy with giving them out, last visit these were full size local spiny lobster halves. Didn't think the other food offerings were as good as a few years back as well (new chef?) for the outdoor feast. - We were bummed the hydroponic greenhouses had not been put back up as that was an awesome thing to see in operation! - If you need a cup of coffee first thing in the morning plan on bringing your own Keurig pods as I felt like I had to fight just to get a few in the room multiple times--housekeeping didn't restock and didn't bring any when I called to get a few. Anguilla is a very special place and we'll be back down there at some point. Stay at CuisinArt again? Maybe. We do understand the massive amounts of $ pumped into the resort but it feels like maybe it's not hitting on all cylinders quite yet. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Lobster bbq

May 8th, 2019

Don’t waste the time and money at this bbq. The food was cold and not as advertised. There were many unhappy people that evening. The location was fabulous, but at 75$ per person, there are many other pretty locations. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Fabulous

May 7th, 2019

Many times to Anguilla but First time at Cuisinart and loved it. Georgeous property on a georgeous beach. One bedroom suite on third floor was well appointed. View impeccable. Quite the number of children over the Easter week , so we opted for breakfast on our balcony. Breezes restaurant down at the Reef is just Fabulous. Once the Easter crowd dispersed it felt like we had the whole Caribbean to ourselves. Would most definitely return TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Amazing stay

May 3rd, 2019

We are just back from a fantastic week at CuisinArt. We were a large group (7 couples) and the property accommodated us beautifully. Rooms were spacious, clean and with fluffy towels and comfy beds. But the real advantage of this property is the outdoor activity. Gorgeous beach with fun activities (sailing, paddleboarding) and heavenly water to float in. The food was fabulous (huge call out to Tokyo) and yummy (if expensive) drinks. Beautiful spa with excellent services. Enjoyed a fantastic facial and good massage during our stay. Finally - the staff. I can’t say enough about the fabulous, warm and attentive staff. They made the experience special. Altogether a fantastic experience! TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
