Wedding stay

Jun 11th, 2019

We stayed at the Champion Circle on May 11th and though we loved the hotel as a whole, there was a terrible noise coming from the plumbing in our bathroom. It started around 3am and didn’t stop until we couldn’t deal with it anymore at 7am and just went downstairs. I spoke to the Manager about the issue and she offered to comp our complete stay. Now, a month later, we still have not been credited for our stay. I call the hotel and ask to speak to the manager and she says she will “contact accounting and figure out what the hold up is, then she will call me back”. I never received a call back and never received a credit for our stay. Not very please with the customer service! TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Great Hotel and location

Jun 4th, 2019

Haven’t even checked in yet and once again the staff here has met every need. I was having a horrible travel day. Had to communicate to hotel via chat on their app from a plane. Quickly and decisively they took care very Request. Especially Lizett. She is awesome! Great grounds, view, location. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

What is that smell?

May 29th, 2019

The lobby has a bad odor. Smells like a sour mop head in dirty water was used to mop the lobby area. Yuck. That's not up to Marriott standards. Nice comfortable room but be prepared to hunt down housekeeping for fresh towels. Not what I expect from Marriott but I may give them another try. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Doesn't work well with Hotels.com Online Reservations

May 22nd, 2019

Booked the room on a Saturday night while traveling. Paid for a room with a golf course view using a credit card on Hotels.com. Arrived at the hotel about an hour later, and the front desk could not find my reservation. Front desk called hotels.com and was on hold or hung up on for 30 min. Hotels.com verbally confirmed the reservation and said they would email the info over to the hotel in 10 min. Desk was nice enough to say, he's been standing here 30 min waiting on you can you give me the info so I can enter it now. There was info, exchanged, and I was asked for a credit card for incidentals. I gave my debit card for that. We had no charges to the room as all we did was go to sleep at 1:30 wake up at 9:30 and leave. My room had no golf course view (just parking lot and trees). AND THEY CHARGED MY DEBT CARD FOR THE ROOM I ALL READY PAID FOR ON HOTELS.COM So I try to contact hotels.com 1st to fix the problem (guy starts of nice, but then I'm transferred into dead air) then I call the person at the Marriot who emailed me about the reservation issue after seeing my hotels.com review (which they haven't posted) and she didn't call back. So I am forced to dispute the charges with 2 banks, to let them figure out who owes me a refund. Moral to the story is never book a room for this Marriott on Hotels.com, they don't seem to be connected into a normal reservations system. I don't understand how 2 worldwide organizations, Hotels.com and Marriott would not have INSTANT data transfer technology. As far as the property and room - the bed is old and mattress is hard (not 4 star quality), the hotel automatic revolving front door was broken, the staff seemed nice and try to be helpful, and the golf course view look like my attached picture. Really Nice property, very relaxing, walking to restaurants

May 19th, 2019

The hotel was very nice, sort of out there in the middle of no where by the motor speedway. The service was friendly. The nighttime lounge was really good. The morning - not so much - they need more fruit, berries. The restaurant was great for dinner. The breakfast buffet lacked a bit but was cheap - $12.95. There weren't fresh pastries or pancakes, etc. The gym was a bit hot....but it's a nice area to walk around. I'll stay here again for sure. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
