Overpriced and Under-Delivered
Jun 17th, 2020
The location of this Marriott was ideal for my trip to Texas this week. I arrived late in the afternoon looking forward to enjoying what was promised as a scenic location. After navigating through the construction equipment and closed off areas, I made it to the front desk. The staff was friendly and prompt. Because of the virus management policies, no food was available in the lounge and everyone was wearing masks. The view out of the 10th floor window was a partially drained pool with a stark green tint. Construction debris littered the surrounding areas. Inside and outside this hotel isn’t ready for guests and certainly not at full price. This was a one and done visit to this Marriott location because it’s overpriced and under-delivered. Okay during difficult times
Apr 2nd, 2020
We stayed here several nights during the CORVID-19 pandemic, but I don't feel they tried to make everything work really well. There were wipes available near the entrance, but I didn't notice any bottles of hand sanitizer set out near the front desk. The gym, pool and food areas were closed as required by law, but they offered single serving breakfast items (milk, OJ, muffins, breakfast sandwiches, cereal) to make our stay comfortable. I slept very well in the bed. They are offering excess supplies (paper towels, TP, etc) for sale in the lobby to assist the local residents find scarce items. The hotel was being remodeled during our stay. Once this all settles down and the hotel is remodeled, I am confident it will be worth a 4 or 5 star rating. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
Very Poor Experience
Mar 15th, 2020
I am a Marriott Bonvoy Ambassador Elite member , and I stay in hotels 150-200 nights per year. I spent over $30k last year with the Marriott chain so I am well aware of their standards. This Hotel failed to meet my expectations at every level. They gave my Suite to another guest and blamed it on a “system error”. Highly suspicious. The Hotel also failed to make any compensation for their mistake. The Ambassador team @ Marriott took care of me and put me in another nearby Hotel. I would recommend avoiding this hotel at all costs. They have no appreciation for their loyal customers who continually spend money with the Marriott brand. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
Avoid during renovations!
Jan 11th, 2020
Do not stay here while they are under renovation! This week was water problems. First night, no hot water so they had to switch me to another room. Next day they announced no water at all all day. Problem was they announced it by putting a note under the door in the middle of the night, so if you woke up after 9 am, you were out of luck and didn’t know that you should have taken a shower the night before. Then today, no announcement about no water, so had to take a bath on my knees in front of a faucet that was barely dribbling water. After I soaped up, water totally stopped. Called front desk all soaped up, they said it would be back in 30 minutes. I don’t have time to wait, I have a plane to catch and I didn’t build time in my schedule for unannounced water problems, because I already had to build time into my schedule for the drive to the airport since it snowed and the roads are wet and it’s 32 degrees. On checkout, they don’t dare ask how your stay was because they know it was bad. And they don’t warn you about any of this when you make reservation or check in. So this is your warning! It’ll probably be like this for the next year while they do renovations. The breakfast was great, and all the employees are nice. But showering you with niceness and compliments doesn’t make you smell better, actual showers with running water do that. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
Marriott Fort Worth

Very nice property. Good size rooms with plenty of plugs for charging. Very friendly staff. Limited offerings in concierge in morning and evenings compared to other Marriotts. Large outdoor mall close by. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
