Basic & clean with underwhelming service..

When 2 out of 3 staff members that you meet don’t exude any friendly or accommodating attitude..it’s time to retrain..and as a customer...to check out.. as fast as you can...no matter the price point...I am a hotel owner, with a life in the service and hospitality industry...I can excuse more than the public. One employee stood out, Angela, as being friendly and willing to help. The others must hate their jobs. The Sunday breakfast which starts at 7:30(upcharge)...was not ready..at 7:50 the coffee being buffet served was still ice cold from the day before...baked goods and bread not restocked from day before were stale and unappealing..the waiter was seemingly bothered by our presence...as was the clerk...they would both last less than an hour in North America as front of the house employees. In fairness..it was cheap...the room was clean..the bath had good pressure and hot water....but the mark of a well run hotel is not the size of the rooms, or the thread count of the linen...it is the tone of the hospitality that your staff sets. Maybe Europeans are used to rough service...I would not know...fortunately for us...we never experienced this with years of international travel from hostels to 5 star. We have this nicknamed the “hotel dour”. If I was there longer, I would have sought out the General Manager..but alas, there was no management present..and it was obvious. We fled to a NH down the street which convinced us people in Granada were not all cold & aloof. I am an easy reviewer...when I complain...take note..Ice cold coffee at 7:45 am should tell the entire story. Give this one a pass. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
Convenient location, comfortable beds, poor aircon and not-on-time beakfast

Excellent location in the central part of Granada, walking distance from Isabel de Catolica square, from where you can easily commute around the city. Small but very clean rooms, beds with comfortable matresses. Very welcoming receptionist Noelia, provided major guidelines for exploring central Granada and helped to book excellent flamenco show. The aircon in the room 212 was broken, blew only hot air. Upon check-out planned to have breakfast at the appointed time, but at the time staff was late for work and only started setting it up. Same staff, whilst busy taking out food, had to bring our car from underground parking. Eventually caused us about half an hour delay. My advise to improve service is to encourage the staff be more punctual. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Excellent location for exploring Granada on foot

We really appreciated our stay here. The staff is friendly and took the time to orient us to attractions and the best places to find tapas on a tourist map. The rooms are comfortable and clean with memory foam mattresses. We stayed in a corner room with windows (glass doors, really) facing Calle Acera del Dauro and Calle Puente de la Virgen. Windows facing the Calle Acera del Dauro open fully, while those facing the Calle Puente de la Virgen opened onto little balconies. Our room was made up for three travelers. This was the only hotel in Spain where my son's extra mattress was something more than a roll-in cot. Here, he had a separate alcove and a full-sized mattress. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Typical 3-star hotel. Very clean and very friendly and helpful staff. Located perfectly for exploring the city on foot and about 30 mins walk from Alhambra. I would stay here again for my next trip to Granada. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
