Needs Reno bad!!!

Mar 25th, 2021

Place in very poor shape! Needs so many updates and we felt very gross staying there. Bed had a huge sink hole in the middle and floors were gross. Peeling paint in the bathrooms, chips in the heater, very poorly maintained. We slept in our clothes and made sure we didn’t touch the floors without shoes on. Staff was nice and shuttle to airport good! (Only reason why we stayed) Would not recommend otherwise! TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Worthless But Remodeled

Mar 24th, 2021

This hotel really is a waste of your time unless your looking for something dirty and cheap. Rooms have been renovated. Hotel location near the busy highway. Noisy, lots of construction, owner of hotel all for the money not for students-parents of IU. Parking is a mess and early times for checkout. Stayed there for my class reunion before Covid hit. A bit below average even with a good rate

May 22nd, 2020

There’s really nothing irredeemably wrong with this place. It’s possible to get a good night’s sleep and decent cup of free coffee in the morning. It’s general location is convenient near two major highways—but there are tons of hotels in this area that fit that bill. The immediate neighborhood is a little weird. It’s both dilapidated and under re-development but feels industrial. This hotel is on the dilapidated side. There were a few shady-seeming people around, like a group huddled around a fire in the back of the pothole-filled parking lot. My room was supposed to be nonsmoking but reeked of cigarettes. Most of the first floor near the entrance smelled like marijuana. The carpet looked like it hadn’t been vacuumed in weeks. The ceiling and walls were in disrepair. The room was generally okay save for trash under my bed. The tv was large but not HD and took a while to figure out how to get it to work with the two remotes (and I’m generally good at that stuff). Wifi was spotty. Other than that whole hotel was very basic. Next time I’ll choose a place accross the highway (either one) for a few dollars more. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

House Keeping was off that week.

Mar 4th, 2020

When you walk in the room it doesn't feel clean. It doesn't smell clean. My room was far from clean. Garbage on the floor, in the corners of the room. Bathroom floor was not cleaned. Furniture has stains and scratches. TV looks like its been beat up. Faucet in shower was OVER taped with plumbers tape with poor water pressure. I was only there from 10:30 pm until early morning. I would never return here especially with my family. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

no blankets, hand towels or wash cloths

Feb 23rd, 2020

By Days Inn standards, this one is well below par. Our room had bath towels and a bath mat but no hand towels or wash cloths. There were no blankets on the beds or anywhere in the room - the beds were made up with just sheets and a light-weight duvet... in February in Minneapolis, for Heaven’s sake! Wifi connection in the room was so bad it was unusable. Adding insult to injury, the orange “juice” at the breakfast bar was Tang or similar orange-flavored drink, not real juice. We won’t be staying here again. At least the shuttle van driver was nice. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
