Simply Disgusting

Feb 20th, 2020

Highlights: -open electrical box -peeling wallpaper -Mildew smell -Pigeon poop encrusted windows -Rusting vents -Mold in tiles, in grout and on ceiling Not to mention the unsafe car park the hotel offers a “discount” on located two blocks away. After I and two other vehicles were broken into (shattered windows) I moved to a secure parking lot directly across form the hotel that was well patrolled and had a locked gate from 10-6. Hotels rate for their unsafe location a block away (according to the officers I spoke to) $35.00 including taxes. Gated/patrolled parking lot right next door $7.20 Suffice to say the whole experience soured me from ever even returning to Vancouver let alone ever staying at a Days Inn again. Run Away

Feb 18th, 2020

There was black grime throughout my shower. Filthy. My credit card was being charged in advance as well. When I asked for a copy of the transaction record I was met with hesitation and resistance from the check-in representative. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Absolutely not worth saving 30 - 50 to stay here.

Feb 17th, 2020

One step into the room and I had instant regret in choosing to stay here. I have stayed in some pretty dismal places and this ranks right up there. Particularly for the price! the difference in staying at other hotels in the area for cost is night and day. The bathroom is incredible... you have to be very small individual to get between the vanity and the tub. Not sure who signed off on that layout but it should come with a size warning. The finishes aren't great, the window doesn't operate properly, there's a warning to not hang things off of the sprinkler piping (has this really been a problem in the past??), the vanity tap moved in its mount, the water had to be turned on full hot in order to have a shower, the towels had holes in them, used toiletries were left in random spots in the bathroom and the only garbage bin was under the bathroom sink so the other trash carefully collected in its own container wasn't removed. The only thing stopping me from immediately cancelling or moving on was the purchase was non-refundable... probably for the very reasons discussed above. I would not recommend, nor again stay at this location when in Vancouver. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Worst Hotel

Feb 16th, 2020

Rooms are out dated, not clean, paint peeling off the wall, stains on the ceiling, not enough light in the room, it smelled, couldn’t hardly sleep cause of the noise. Would not recommend staying there. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

7/10

Feb 13th, 2020

Rooms were a bit small, clean, the outlet in the bathroom didn't work but didn't bother me much. Could here quite a bit of noise in the hallway and parking was a bit odd/confusing. Over all 7/10 stay :) TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
