Friendly & Helpful

The only complaint was the lack of a lift for handicapped to reach the second floor. The stairs are so steep that once my wife made it up, she remained in the room for the two nights that we were there. We had two rooms, one for our daughter, because we there for a funeral. The rooms are what you can expect from a motel this age, but one of the very few that allow pets and smoking. The Staff, from the maids to the managers, were extremely friendly and helpful. They went the extra mile to make our stay comfortable. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Very friendly check in staff made the stay worth while for an average establishment. The internet and cable were better than most too. It is an older place, but seemed to be kept up as good as the age allowed. Electric outlets need to be changed as the grip strength was weak. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Horrible experience

I stopped at this Days Inn on a trip through Wichita. I was assigned to Room 209 and my credit card was charged $60 plus a $15 pet fee. I went up the dark stairway to room 209, opened the door to find a bed that looked like someone just climbed out of it and items on the dresser. I do not know if someone else was living in this room or if it had just not been cleaned. I immediately returned to the office and asked for a refund. Sam ( the desk clerk) wanted to give me another room. I was too upset and asked for a refund. He told me to leave my email and someone would get back to me. Wyndham owns Days Inn and Sam said their policy is not to reverse any transactions even if they have not been authorized. After a second phone call to the hotel manager (Mr. Patel) I was told I would be given a refund in two days. I have travelled extensively in my 67 years and I have never been put in an uncleaned or occupied room in any hotel. After this type of experience I would have expected management to be extremely apologetic and offer an immediate refund and even an offer of a refund in cash. This was a totally unacceptable response for a hotel carrying the Wyndham name! TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Pleasant Stay

No problems. Always nice and accomodating as always! Staff was very nicw. Clean rooms. Breakfast was nice but way too quiet - no way to keep up with news or time during breakfast but it was nice. Look forward to staying again. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Excellent budget friendly stay

My stay here was great thanks to the efforts of the staff. They cleaned a room just so that I could check in early so that my schedule could be met. The price point of this hotel was great for me. No complaints. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
