STILL THE BEST

Jun 15th, 2019

I am a delano guest for well over 20 years, having lived in miami and back to florida now we have had a chance to visit and stay there over 4 times the past few months. From the suite to the bangalôs I have stayed in. Delano still the one, its charm is unheard of. The history behind. The pool still great lota of fun. Good service. They improved the cabanas with minibars. Tvs. So great to hang out The restaurant leynia yes can be improved but that doesnt take away from the hotel, miami beach has too many great places to eat. Valet services yes can be improved but after some negotiating they kept my ferrari up front for the weekend ( wish we could do that with the front desk not valet people). Rooms and overall appearance has improved. New painting on walls I noticed so they are reading the critics. Anyway. I would not change hotels and will be staying there in two weeks again and again. Lobby still great and delano is the delano. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Still Cool!

Jun 10th, 2019

The Delano was one of the first UBER-COOL Art Deco hotels in Miami Beach. I re-visited the property last month after so many years and I still just adore it. The ART-DECO architecture is still grand...the sweeping white curtains and mod-age look is still beautiful...as are the people that stay here. Once a beauty...always remains true. LOVE YOU... DELANO! This South Beach classic hotel is starting to look worn out and tired

Jun 10th, 2019

This is one of my favourite hotels in South Beach, you can say it started the "trendy, cool" transformation in South Beach many years ago...but it is showing signs of its age... The wonderful pool area has worn out lounge chair's mats that takes away a bit of the magic. The carpet areas around the hotel look tired and the gym has been needing a remake for a long time! The service is good through out with the exception of the breakfast team. This is the second year we were surprised by the slow, uninterested service we received. This was not due to a lack of staff, but poor attitude / training ...when I asked what kind of bread they offered, the answer was: "it is in the menu..." as he waited for me to find it!! With that said, we will return, as we really like the location and the hotel continues to have that coolness feel we like. Let's hope they put some investment back in this unique property soon! Unfortunately not what it used to be

Jun 5th, 2019

Came here the 4th time but i have to say i am disappointed. The service is worse than before, lot of stuff needs to be renewed. Old metal sunbeds at the pool and covers for the sunbeds are dirty. Everything seems to become old. The dishes in the hallway in front of the rooms were not picked up for four days. That is not what i expect from a hotel what calls itself a luxury hotel. The prices are ridiculous high. Ok for a real luxury place but not for a place that seems not to be better than a random place in a party spot. Sad because we used to have some good times here but the next time we will try another hotel. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

A splurge on South Beach, but worth it.

Jun 4th, 2019

We have visited South Beach many, many times, and have stayed in a variety of hotels. we always liked to look of the Delano, but we finally decided to splurge and stay there. The lobby of the hotel is uber-chic, open and airy, with lots of questionable art. Our city view room, however, was out of a Jean Harlow movie. All white, with a big comfy bed. Service at the hotel was impeccable, especially the valet for the car. The hotel has a beautiful pool, but we decided to spend our beach day on the beach. The hotel provides lounges with cushions and umbrellas. Best of all, they serve drinks on the beach. Finally, the location is perfect - one block from Lincoln Road. Yes, a splurge, but worth it.
