It’s a nice hotel. The price is a bit high for the Fargo area. We paid 187 for a honeymoon suite and the suite was nice, can’t make any complaints about that, however I did bring my littles with me. They didn’t tell me until after they charged my card that the pool wasn’t working, but the slide was. They’re nice bars throughout the property and one is by the pool. :) The slide was nice but we chose this hotel for the tiny kid area for my two year old. Also, the area was packed and the hot tub had a limit of four. So we didn’t get to go at all. I chose the hotel for my littles to swim after a long business day. Wasn’t happy that they didn’t tell me before charging my card that the area was closed. Very upset about that detail and the fact we still paid 187 for a room. I was okay with paying 187 because my kids were going to be able to swim and our family was suppose to have a good time but instead we had to “swim” in the over sized tub. 🤨 TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
Plenty of Nearby Hotels, There Must Be a Better Choice

Positives: - Room was clean and comfortable -- bed, TV, shower, AC/heat all good. - Amber at front desk was pleasant. - Nice that I was given a card that said "present at bar for a free beer, wine or cocktail." Negatives: - NOT NICE that the bartender refused to let me use the card for a free glass of wine, said he would only discount it by $6 and I'd have to pay the difference. And then he wouldn't produce a wine list so I could see how much I'd have to pay for my "free" wine. I just said, "You know, never mind." And then he gives me a disdainful "okay then". - Wifi was very poor, virtually useless, both in the room and in the restaurant. - No coffee in room, except decaf. Had to go down to front desk to get some. - Hallway had what appeared to be beads of broken glass strewn about. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
Poor service, loud rooms
Oct 18th, 2020
My first time at a Delta Hotel, and I wasn’t impressed. I know why Marriott has Delta Hotels (acquired the Canadian chain), but I’m not sure why they expanded the brand into the US. It’s odd positioning, but moving on to this hotel. This is a former Ramada Inn that’s been remodeled. Lobby and lobby bar are open and modern, as are the rooms. Generally very clean and modern decor. The service was awful. Assigned the wring room. Went back to the desk for a new room. Babi to the room and the key didn’t work. An apology from the person that screwed up twice would have been nice; instead, she berated a new employee she was responsible for training in front of a customer. Totally classless. Finally in the room, it is large and modern. Bathroom shows that it’s an older hotel, compounded by dark colors. Bed and pillows were comfortable, although a good nights sleep was hampered by the noise. Very loud plumbing that you can hear from above and below. Also very heavy room doors that are already loud when opening and closing that become much louder when guests slam shut. In terms of Covid cleanliness, there are no significant signs of extra cleaning. Many Hugh touch items remain in the room. Ending verdict: I would not stay here again, and I’m not sure I’d stay at another Delta Hotel... it’s a brand without a clear identity. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
"Committment to Clean"?
Sep 9th, 2020
Despite Marriot's commitment....this hotel was not committed. Over the course of 3 nights we encountered several staff members: front desk, cleaning, maintenence either not wearing masks, or in one case, a front desk member carrying a mask in her hand as she headed outside. This trip was our families first trip out since Covid hit, and we were truly disappointed. The best part was the restaraunt/lounge. The person serving coffee in the morning was fantastic, Maurice in the bar was great as well. I would not recommend this hotel at this time. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
I expected more.....

Fully understanding that we are in the COVID-19 times, I am writing this review honestly. First time in Fargo for a friend's wedding. This hotel was strongly recommended for a place to stay. Should have read the reviews first....the ones posting the 2-3 stars were spot on, especially knowing there was a recent remodel: - Check-in....wow, I don't think the receptionist (I will call her that, not a Guest Service person) could have been any ruder. Asked for the name, handed us the room keys, then that was it - back to talking to the boyfriend who was standing at the desk (unmasked). Also - and this is being nit-picky, but as a Marriott Elite member, the greeting should be to welcome the member as an Elite member and check to see if there is anything else required. Didn't happen. - We had three people in our group. There were two towels in the room for showers. I even have a request in my profile for extra towels. - Again, three people in our group, two bottles of water in the room as the "welcome" gift. - Sofa bed did not have any sheets, and the extra sheet/blanket pack in the room was empty. - Front desk visit for these items....again, rude woman told me that the sheets were not part of the room requirement now. Towels will be delivered when available. Put in the request to have them dropped off at 7am, and that was one thing honored. - As we were leaving (three day visit), we found Cheetos under one of the beds (we did not have any Cheetos). - Website claims that the Fitness Room and Pool areas are closed. Pool was open the entire time we were there, and I did not see any posting that the pool opening was back in play. So, after all this, definitely a one-star rating, and a warning for other travelers to choose another Hotel, especially since this one comes so highly rated. The reasons for my three-star rating: - Ice and water rooms on each floor have a HEPA-filtered water system. - There is plenty of parking for the Conference Room attached to the Hotel. - The fish tacos from the restaurant were really good. - And the one true savior for this Hotel - Maurice, the bartender. He is a class act in any setting, remains cool even with other things going wrong, remembers your previous drinks on other days, and listens to stories while recommending a drink to match your mood. He truly deserves to be in a better Hotel/Bar, but chooses to remain at this one. Other rooms may be cleaner, other check-in times may have a different person who actually cares about the Guest, and maybe weekdays are better than weekends....who knows. As I started, I am fully aware that patience and understanding is the key during the COVID times. However, with places opening up, traveling still going on, I would expect a better welcome to a City that is on a boom right now. Nothing wrong with a little return gratitute for your visit.
