Slots still tight

Aug 12th, 2020

We enjoyed our 3 hours but the slots are still tight. We would win $30 to $75 , just enough to keep us there. They clean the machines slot, so we felt safe. We stayed in the same area and few people were around us. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Feeling Safe

Jul 10th, 2020

While at the Desert Diamond during the height of Covid-19 in Arizona I was impressed at the ongoing disinfecting in the gaming area. Machines and chairs were quickly wiped down after each use. I had been at Casino del Sol two nights before and saw none of this cleaning going on there. My only criticism is he strong smoke smell in the air. I felt much safer here at the Desert Diamond Tucson. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Used to honor vets but I guess they dont care anymore

Feb 27th, 2020

As a member of the DD tribute program I was offered 12 free stays a year. I guess the whole "we care about our veterans" was just a marketing scheme. I was planning a casino visit but after talking to the rude operator, i was told that program was discontinued. I asked what the program offered currently and was told a discount in the gift shop... Thanks DD. Ill be taking my casino visit to Casino Del Sol instead. Might be more expensive but they didnt pretend to honor vets in an attempt to generate business. Wont ever be coming back to any of your facilities and ill be recommending Casino del Sol to every vet i initially referred to you. o7 TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Just OK

The food is much better than in the recent past. Gambling, although full of a good variety, still does not pay off enough. Be careful with Tucson casinos, they are tight. You do feel safe here, both in the building and in the parking lot. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Diamond grill spot on

Feb 8th, 2020

This review is for the Diamond Grill. Greeting - Quick and polite. We did not have reservations, showed up at 6:15 on a Saturday night and Kory (Manager) not only fit us in but gave us a great booth. Drinks - spot on. Good amount and well priced Food - we had the Chicken Piccata and Filet. Both were prepared excellent. Served hot and just the right size. The fresh made bread is a must. Atmosphere - does not measure up to the great food but it’s okay. Our server - (the manger sat with us and received our suggestions). She did not offer us water or bread; never checked on us nor asked how everything was regarding the drinks, salad or meal. She served the steak with the handle of the steak knife in the brown sauce, never offered us dessert (actual she never came back) and We had to flag he down for the check. Finally...the night was saved by Kory the F&B manager as he greeted us, sat us, brought us hot bread and came back to bring us a check. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
