Mixture of charm and bliss - what else could you ask for!?!

We've stayed here several times before. Still love coming back. Whether a special occasion or any other occasion, perfect place for couples to relax and enjoy the ambience. This place is close to all that's happening in Idaho Falls. Don't get frustrated - parking is just across the street on the west side. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Exceptional stay and beyond clean rooms

Did not know what to expect and was thrilled how wonderful the rooms and stay was. I would highly recommend. We stayed in the NY and Egypt rooms. Great attention to detail, not cheesy decor, comfy beds, great tubs and showers, and nice breakfast & apple champagne and cheesecake. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

One of the best stays!!!

My husband and I love to travel and stay at unique inns. We’ve gone to many different unique places, and Destinations Inn is by far our favorite! This is our second stay here and it was just as nice as the first time! We stayed in the New York room and loved the decor and the amenities. The bed is very comfortable, the continental breakfast is gourmet (croissant breakfast sandwich, coffee, hot chocolate, parfait, etc) and delivered to your room for free! Many bed and breakfast places we’ve stayed at charge to bring you breakfast to your room. I thought this was such a wonderful touch. They have music playing on the tv when you come in and it really makes for a luxurious atmosphere. The NY room has a large whirlpool tub, an oversized steamer shower, and 2 very comfortable, oversized chairs to relax in while you look at the New York skyline! They have Netflix, Hulu, YouTube, anything you’d want to watch. They have a Keurig in the room and provide you coffee as well. Also, we found out the owner made the bedspread, the decorative pillows, and the curtains above the bed. We thought that was amazing!! There was a little note on the bed welcoming us by name too. The staff are all incredibly friendly, kind, and willing to help with whatever you need! We came from camping for a week in Yellowstone, and were a little worried because our car was jammed pack of camping gear and we were staying at Destinations Inn for a couple of days-since we don’t know the area very well I was worried about our car in the parking lot. To our relief, the area was incredibly safe and we didn’t worry about our stuff at all! It’s a gorgeous, safe area. We HIGHLY recommend this family’s wonderful inn!! TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Rooms got smaller, now it's just a hotel room with nice decorations.

I hadn't stayed in since 2 or 3 years ago. I was so excited to get back. Destinations Inn. It used to be fantastic, large, and elegant rooms. It made you feel like you were the only ones there and it felt secluded and so romantic. I didn't mind paying the high price because it used to be magical and huge. You really felt far away. They have since butchered the rooms to half the size they were to add rooms. What used to feel like a secluded place, this time we could hear the TV in the next room. It is not worth the price anymore. It now feels like a normal hotel. I get wanting to be more profitable, but at what price for customers? TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Below Expectations

Jan 23rd, 2020

We went for our anniversary, and stayed in the Venice suite. Upon arrival we discovered the bedspread had leftover "juices" on it. I went to the front desk to ask for another one and she couldn't find one. She said I don't understand it because they do replace it between each guest. I just asked her to remove it. Obviously it is not replace between guests and they don't have enough to replace as needed. The complimentary breakfast was as expected, but we stayed two nights so we got another breakfast from the local restaurant free. It was the exact same as the complimentary breakfast except the parfaits were in a glass, and the croissants were heated up for us. Why would we have paid $15 for this? The front desk are not on site on Sundays, and the lights in the lobby were not on the entire day or night making for a dark entrance into the hotel from the side door all day and night long. It made for a spooky/dangerous walk to the elevator. Overall not what I expect for the price paid. The room was gorgeous. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
