Lovely hotel

Sep 21st, 2019

Excellent hotel, just out of town, which has its advantages. Lovely bright room with good sized balcony, separated from next door by a rail with climbing plants. We had a harbour view. Excellent internet with plenty of plugs for charging. Lots of coat hangers. Nice bar/Coffee & cake area at the entrance. We ate in the restaurant one night would recommend, also nearby Dir has some nice food if you don't want to go into the old town. Breakfast is fine just not 4* especially the hot food. Niggles, no milk for coffee in Room, no comfortable chair (3 upright chairs with wooden arms). Only one lift, we used the stairs to walk down from 5th floor. There is a 15 minute downhill walk into town, uphill on the way back. We stayed 6 days and only took the bus twice. Most days walking in twice. There is a small supermarket next door. Lovely hotel slightly out of town

Sep 13th, 2019

The hotel is very smart and clean. Room was spacious we had a balcony with view across to the old town and port. Is on a quite busy road, but with double glazed doors it did not disturb our sleep. Breakfast included is a hit and cold buffet. Seats indoors and on covered outside area which was lovely. A comfortable bar lounge has live piano playing three times a week. Roof top pool is quite and was never too busy. There is a hot tub, two saunas and a steam room . If you want spa treatments plan ahead as they get booked up. Staff all very friendly and helpful Check out the local restaurants we went to Duja - fish was great and Dir for lovely pizza. Walk to beach or old town about 20 minutes. trip to Krka falls about 1 1/4 hours drive- lovely! TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Nice hotel, Great pool!

Sep 10th, 2019

The hotel and room was really nice, room was large with plenty of wardrobe space and clean and bathroom was very modern. We had a little balcony which was a bonus. The breakfast was good with a lot of choice, and the pool and jacuzzi on the roof where amazing and we always managed to get a bed. The hotel is a good 20/25 minute walk into the centre but we knew this before we booked so was happy to do this walk. Although I could not fault the hotel I do think it was overpriced for what it was but we did go in the high season and I felt all of split was expensive anyways. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Amazing Rooftop Pool and Service

Sep 4th, 2019

The rooftop pool and bar is the main selling point of this hotel! The included breakfast each morning was also a great value. The hotel is located about 15 minutes walk from the old town, and we made the trip a few times per day without any trouble. Would definitely stay at this hotel again if back in Split. This hotel is not ready for families

Sep 1st, 2019

Let me start by saying that this is a great hotel with an excellent breakfast buffet. The rooms are large and clean and surely no comment on this. The hotel pool on the roof top is small but offers you a great view over the city and the sea and it is worth seeing the sun go down in the evening. Parking is available underneath the hotel in a parking garage that you need to pay for. Downside of this hotel, only one elevator that is extremely slow. The biggest disappointment however, linking to the subject line, is that they expect a 6-year old to sleep in the same bed as the parents. We made a reservation for two adults and our son of 6,5 and there was no separate bed. When we contacted the reception desk, they kindly informed us that kids are supposed to sleep in the same bed as the parents. We requested a separate bed and had to pay an additional fee of 70 euros per night. The extra bed was a simple camp bed and took them about 5 minutes to install. The price you pay per night is higher than the price of the camp bed. This is ridiculous and you should not advertise being a family hotel if this is the service you deliver. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
