Another magical stay!

Jun 13th, 2019

My family and I stayed in a pool view studio for 3 nights in March. This is our favorite DVC property to stay at. The rooms are very clean and spacious. We had a room on the 2nd floor near the lobby, which was very convenient. Love being able to walk to Epcot, especially during the Flower and Garden Festival. Very convenient location, as we were able to walk back from the After Hours event at Hollywood Studios at 12am instead of worrying about having to catch a bus. Plenty of dining options on the Boardwalk, too. See you again in September! TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Repeat Guest of 10+ Years - My FAVOURITE Disney Resort!

Jun 3rd, 2019

I've been staying at Disney's Boardwalk Villas for 10+ years now as my family are Disney Vacation Club members & the Boardwalk is our home resort. I'd recommend to anybody who needed advice on where to stay on Disney property, having stayed at 9 other resorts on Disney property, Boardwalk is definitely my go-to. Being situated between Disney's Hollywood Studios & EPCOT, walking distance to both, is a real positive as Disney buses can be unreliable. The selection of eatery's, shops and entertainment on the Boardwalk itself is great, you don't even need to leave the hotel if you don't want to! My personal favourite is Ample Hills, the ice cream there is to die for! The cast members here are always friendly and happy to help, we have had a few incidences where we've had to change rooms, but they always accommodate to the fullest extent. The rooms have always been clean and filled with great amenities. You do not have to go outside to get to your room (unless you have a garden suite room) which is great as the Florida weather is very unpredictable! You can even see the Epcot and Hollywood Studios fireworks from some rooms. My favourite view is of the Boardwalk, it's great to people watch from your balcony. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Normal high Disney standards

May 26th, 2019

Stayed for 6 nights and enjoyed our stay very much. Stayed in a studio with the normal high standards we have come to expect from Disney, elegant surroundings and being on the boardwalk was a real plus 10 minute walk and you were through security and into Epcot , fairly large property so you could be some way from central parts of the resort , would I stay here again ? most definitely. Spring Break 2019 at BoardWalk Villas

May 20th, 2019

This was our first stay at Boardwalk Villas! This is my wife's favorite hotel by far, she loved walking to EPCOT, it never took more than 3 minutes to get into park and walked directly into the World's Showcase. My favorite is Wilderness Lodge, but the Boardwalk is a close second. 1 One Bedroom Villas was perfect for our family of 3. The pluses are the separate room sinks; so two people can get ready at the same time, the workout room had a steam room and good elliptical equipment that I used every morning, and my 12 year old son loved the pool and the long slide. A negative would be its a huge hotel and took a while to get to lobby, I didn't have an issue but a family with smaller kids might. We tried the room service and LOVED the pizza that we ordered. It comes with a full kitchen so you can save on eating out. The only reason I didn't put 5 star is that the room was over $600 a night. Will stay again but not until I stay on the Monorail! Our new favorite Disney Resort °o°

May 13th, 2019

The beautiful lobby is bright and welcoming. We stayed in a One Bedroom Villa, it was the perfect size for two adults. The unit was spotless, there were no random dust bunnies or dusty areas. There was a king sized bed in the bedroom, a dresser and a sliding door that opened up to the balcony. The kitchen was very nicely equipped with the following: pots, pans, glass bowls with storage lids, silverware, serving utensils, plates, loads of glasses and coffee mugs. I mention all these things because sometimes condos claim to be well equipped and they’re not. This room definitely had everything we needed to prepare meals. The main bathroom area had a large shower and a pedestal sink. There’s a separate bathroom area with a bathtub and large vanity. Doors between the two rooms made it ideal for multiple people to use either at the same time. Walk in closet with a laundry basket could be found off of the bathroom. The biggest draw for us was the vicinity to EPCOT and Hollywood Studios. The walk to EPCOT took us about 8 minutes. The walk to Hollywood Studios took us about 20. The walkways are wide and didn’t feel crowded. The boat dock is also very conveniently located if you’re not interested in walking (or you’re tired). We didn’t wait long for the boat to EPCOT or Hollywood Studios. The general store has very basic groceries. Milk, half & half, yogurt, frozen pizzas etc. There’s a large variety of restaurants when you factor the closeness of the Yacht And Beach Club resorts, plus the Boardwalk has a number of places to eat. EPCOT is close enough to duck into France or one of the other world showcase places for a bite to eat also. Overall this was a great place to stay and we’ll be back! As a comparison we’ve stayed at The Beach Club, Wilderness Lodge, Caribbean Beach, Port Orleans Riverside and Polynesian (least favorite). TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
