Not Very Good

Jan 18th, 2020

We arrived at Disney's Saratoga springs hotel Monday January 13th at 10:00PM. It looked nice upon arrival and we were excited. Then reality started setting in. We asked how to get to our room and we were told you could walk or take the golf carts they provided. We waited for the golf cart to take us. The driver came helped with the luggage and brought it to the room and then just stood there waiting for a tip which was very uncomfortable. This driver did this 3 times. Upon checking the room there was a sleeper sofa which was not what we were told and the rooms in our party were supposed to be adjacent and were not. The room was cold and you could not lower the AC. We had to walk to the restaurant that night to get something to eat and it was a long walk. We had to because the restaurants at the hotel were closing and could not wait for them. We arrived at the artists palette and the food is not good and expensive for the portions you are given. The rooms were not cleaned the whole week, and the headboards were full of dust. The hotel is to spread out and needs to be revamped. You have to call the main desk Everytime you need an answer instead of having it right there in a lobby where you are staying.I would never go back to this Disney resort. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Beautiful property

Loved the buses, the proximity to Disney Springs and every cast member we came in contact with. Perfect trip for our daughter-in-law, son, granddaughter and our friends to all enjoy at the same time. The resort put our units near one another, and that was convenient for our 2.5 year old granddaughter, who loved to walk by our room and knock on our door as she passed. And that same little girl just loved the pool in Paddock (where we stayed). Such a lovely trip, which still continues another couple of days. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Nice Property

Our family of 4 stayed at Saratoga Springs for the Disney Marathon Weekend 2020. We stayed in the 1 bedroom Villa. We were in the Congress Park section of the resort. Our room was quite nice, we looked out at Disney Springs and the round trip walk for the morning Starbucks was ~3/4 of a mile. Shuttle service to and from the parks was easy and convenient. Shuttles to the races were also easy to access. We already had our Magic Bands and the online check in via the Disney app means you never have to go to the lobby. one tip - have the bellman drive you to your building / room in a golf cart, the grounds are huge and it would be easy to get lost. Disney Saratoga Springs

Jan 12th, 2020

It's Disney ... They, for the most part always do a great job ... It's just that everything is so expensive ... Especially the park tix's and the food ... Also, with a timeshare exchange, for less than 8 days, there is no mid week cleaning, which sucks ... TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Not good!

Jan 11th, 2020

We've stayed at many Disney resorts in the past and all were good except this one. For starters, the units are very outdated and if you are with RCI you will not be allowed near the renovated units or at Congress Park (near the walkway to Disney Springs). The 1 bedrooms may be sufficient for small children but definitely not for teens. Customer service is both good and bad here. Our first line of employees were not easy to deal with but the second line were helpful. The biggest issue we had was with the heating and A/C system. All units are all pre-programmed to blast cold air from about 8-11pm and then blast heat around 3am so you go to bed freezing and then wake up in a sweat during the night. You wont be able to change the temp yourself unless maintenance comes in to bypass the system. Because of this, we averaged 3-4 hours of sleep per night and 2 of us got sick. It also has a motion sensor on it that changes the temp when you're away from the room. I don't know what they were thinking with this design. It ruined what should have been a great vacation.
