Attention to details superb

Wilderness lodge is an amazing experience. The lodge itself is beyond words and the ground are beautiful. I rate this not only for the above mentioned but for the incredible customer service. Maddie, who happen to be at front desk during our dilemma, was patient and not only took care of our problem but because it wasn’t our fault(I advise to always save and bring receipts of payment )gave us 2 extra free pass rides. She is why I would come back and stay next year. Made our time at Disney extra special! TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Extremely helpful and caring staff

Feb 23rd, 2020

My trip started off very rocky. My child fell ill our first day in the park on this past Monday, 2/17. I did not know it at first, but my 7 year old had a reaction to something and her knee and ankle swelled to the point where she could not walk out of the park and had to be wheeled back to the hotel. I thought she had a fracture at first bc she has no allergies. Well it was about midnight when things were getting progressively worse. The staff at the hotel, Lynda, the night manager was amazing. She came to the room, helped us with medics, gave us the meds we needed and even left our daughters with a treat the next day. It is people like this who make all of the difference. When you are a parent, away with no car, no knowledge of the area to get your child where they need to be and you are scared, it's people like Lynda who make me want to come back again and again. There was another very kind woman, Arlene, who worked the front desk who helped me as well later that week. The wilderness Lodge is amazing, the people who work here are great, and I will be returning here again. Thank you to the staff. It was much appreciated. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Valentines Day Cowboy - Cowgirl Wonderland

Feb 17th, 2020

This resort has taken on a whole new fresh look - one that is more appealing to couples and families than before - the new Geiser Point bar overlooking the bay and the new cottages - not to mention the actualy houses - on the water. A love for the Native American Indian lives in this resort - and - its a fun place to take the family or just get away from life's hustle and bustle. Visiting with a girlfriend and explaining the geiser was so amazing on Valentines Day! TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Truly a MAGICAL Disney Christmas Experience!!!

Feb 16th, 2020

This was a very first for our family, to stay somewhere other than home for Christmas. We stayed here on Christmas 2019! Disney never misses a beat, esp for the holidays! Everything was perfect, even extra perfect since is was Christmas. The details in the lodge decorations were fantastical and the friendly helpfulness of the staff was wonderful during our stay. The buildings and grounds - immaculate! We LOVED the restaurant, wow - soooo much amazing food!! My absolute fav was the glorious tree in the lobby. I would have been happy just to curl up on a couch and spend the night by such a magnificent tree but the beds were quite cozy and rustic. Loved being able to take the boat around to MK. Will definitely stay again, even over the holidays! TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Excellent As Always

Feb 15th, 2020

I have a bit of a love affair with this place, having grown up visiting great lodges as a child (Mohonk Mountain House in NYC, Hakone in Japan). I've stayed at many of the Disney properties, but tend to come back here, this probably my fifth stay -- I had a bit of free time at the end of a business trip, why not? It didn't disappoint. Though I will warn you that they are doing renovations right now (they should warn you before you book), and it gets quite noisy on the upper floors of the north wing between 10-5. But really that only bothered my when I checked in, I was of course off to visit the parks at other times. They've done a good job of keeping the place up, the lobby is one of the most spectacular I've been in, and it's as immaculate as ever. On of my favorite features of this place are the nooks and crannies that are good for a quick read or work. Especially the one over the entrance with a fireplace. The rooms are comfortable and clean, and the pool view rooms have a great a great...view. As much fun were the great memories I've had here with my family over the years. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
