Expensive room rates

Disney's Polynesian Village Resort offers this more private accommodation option for guests, featuring 360 deluxe studios and 20 overwater Bora Bora-inspired bungalows. Inside each bungalow, travelers will find two bedrooms, two bathrooms, a kitchen, a private deck with hanging chairs and a pool, and a view of Seven Seas Lagoon and Cinderella Castle. Guests also praise the stellar views – which include Disney's famous evening fireworks – and the on-site ferry and monorail transit options to Walt Disney World. For dining, there's the Hawaiian-themed eatery 'Ohana, which has earned a round of applause from guests for its delicious buffets and kid-friendly activities like coconut races and hula hooping. The resort underwent extensive renovations in 2015, including the volcano pool and slide and the Great Ceremonial House lobby, but the theme is unchanged, with plenty of drumming and chanting in the three-story atrium, and no lack of tropical drinks at the bar. The resort also added 20 bungalows built on stilts over the lagoon, which sleep up to eight.

Travel + Leisure

Marked by modern decor with tropical influences, the waterfront rooms also come with an unobstructed view of fireworks over Cinderella's Castle from their own personal waterfront deck. And, in keeping with the island luxury theme, each of the 20 bungalows come equipped with a private plunge pool.

The bungalows have private plunge pools and are set on a boardwalk area near the Seven Seas Lagoon. They offer an excellent view of the nightly electrical light pageant that occurs on the lagoon.
