Why still charging resort fee?
Oct 20th, 2020
I am just curious why some of the hotels continue to charge a resort fee when you are getting nothing for it. As a diamond member I am supposed to receive free hi speed WiFi amongst other amenities. The elevator is not labeled well as to directions if you have baggage either. When I checked in at 5pm the bistro was only open for another 30 minutes so I had to drive for dinner. Ice machine wasn’t working near my room and gave up trying to find one. I am also curious where the light switch is to control the 2 standing lamps. I tried everything then gave up on that also. The positive; clean room, comfortable bed and really nice shower. There are lots of options and this property is close enough to Scottsdale without too much driving. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
Not what its portrayed to be

The staff was very nice - BUT - The pictures look great and there are several good reviews however the hotel is dated. Our room had a lingering musty smell, old outdated furniture that reminded of the 70s. We actually left the hotel got refunded and moved to a different location in the area. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

I enjoyed my short stay. Although restaurants were closed, the grounds were beautifully landscaped. The room was very spacious, clean, light and bright overlooking the pool area. I had to wait in the lobby for 2 hours before check in and even the lobby was a nice place be. I hope I make it back some day. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
Enjoyed a 3 night getaway
Aug 21st, 2020
We enjoyed a quiet 3 day getaway here. The resort was very nice. The pools are nice but one waterfall was not working. The cushions could use a little update but we found the courtyards to be beautiful and well maintained. It was very quiet due to COVID I'm assuming. And the pool bar was not open so if you ordered from the service it did take a while. BUT our server was super friendly! Our room overlooking the pool was very spacious and nice. A/C worked great! Breakfast food was great. We enjoyed all this on points! We were very pleased! TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
Staycation during covid
Jun 28th, 2020
We are just use to 5 star hotels/resorts. If you have decided to continue reading. This property has 2 pools. Our 2 queen bed room was just okay. Tv barely worked. Date and time on tv was not right. Ants on new towels and in the sink when we arrived. It really has a feel of a fancy MOTEL. Quiet because well Covid. We enjoyed the pool first thing in the morning. Which was great. By evening 6pm, Friday and Saturday either there wasn’t staff to clean up drinks and towels or they just didn’t have time to. But it would have been more enjoyable to have come back in the evening seeing an empty pool that didn’t have dirty towels bottles of beer and plastic cups everywhere. Lastly, smoking by the pool is disgusting. If that is permitted I for sure won’t return. If it was something guests took advantage because of the lack of staff, now you know. Check on the most populated area regularly-it was a weekend, and remind guests of your policies. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
