Great Value

This is an older hotel, and it is a little dark and dated. However, it is solid, quiet, and spotlessly clean. Separate living room and bedroom. Hot, powerful shower and comfortable bed. Quick, friendly check in. TRIPADVISOR.COM USERÂ
It was nice

Our room was nice. The pool and hot tub was enjoyable. The downside is always needing to get towels for the room or emptying trash ourselves. I am sure it is not normally like that, but a small hassle. There was hair in the tub, but the rest of the room was clean. TRIPADVISOR.COM USERÂ
Not up to Hilton standards

This was our third, but last stay at this property. The previous two stays were prior to the pandemic. This time, the room was average in terms of cleanliness. What was very irritating was their approach to the included breakfast -- which was the same thing every day...luke warm coffee and cold breakfast burritos (as the hot option). Hidden in the backroom were bags containing yogurt, a sugary muffin, and a power bar (as the cold option). You had to ask for the second option as there was no indication that if even existed. Lastly, two different front desk clerks were rude and unfriendly. It seemed that they were not interested in doing business...I'll oblige them and take my money elsewhere. TRIPADVISOR.COM USERÂ
Terribly dirty

Condoms in drawers upon arrival, dead bugs and food under both beds and in couch sofa bed. Extra blanket disgusting. Filthy channel changers. Bathroom door sticks loudly. No towels provided at pool even after asking - wouldn't hand out to guests. Breakfast was disgusting. Guests are required to wear masks when getting their bagged-breakfast during Covid but server wasn't required to do so. Garbage overflowing in outside bins. I thought during Covid places cleaned - this one was filthy. TRIPADVISOR.COM USERÂ
Good stay

This was my first time staying at this DoubleTree location. It is an older property (formerly an Embassy Suites). I didn't mind the popcorn ceilings, etc. because the walls were very thick and soundproofed. We didn't hear a thing from the other rooms and we slept very well. I was disappointed that they do not have their signature DoubleTree chocolate chip cookies, but they advised since their restaurant is closed due to Covid, they are not able to bake cookies at this time. Their breakfast buffet is also not open, but they do have "grab and go" breakfast bags on request at the front desk from 6 - 9 am (Monday - Friday) and 6 - 10 am on the weekends. The bags included: yogurt, granola, a granola bar, and a piece of fruit. It was definitely enough to fill us up for breakfast. Nobody told me at check-in that housekeeping only cleaned the rooms every four days, and even then, only upon request. I was able to get some clean towels and extra toiletries at the front desk. The room seemed very clean when we arrived. All in all, this was a very good stay. We did not use the pool, but I saw a staff member cleaning it every day. The location of the hotel is great. It is very close to stores and many restaurants. TRIPADVISOR.COM USERÂ
