My girlfriend and I had a great weekend at the hotel, visiting the nearby mall and restaurants. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. I would definitely stay here again. It was a nice, peaceful weekend. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
Filthy - Full Stop

Both rooms were visibly dirty. The mini-fridge was visibly dirty. The heating/cooling unit was extremely dirt so you would breathe the filth being blown from the unit. The bed wasn't made properly. The telephones were even visibly dirty. It's clear high-touch items/surfaces have never been cleaned. With the rooms being VISIBLY dirty, I can only assume items have not been disinfected either, even during this time of the coronavirus pandemic. After discovering this lack of concern for health and hygiene, I then wished I hadn't eaten that cookie - seriously. Even if this location offers you a free stay, I strongly advise you to sek accommodations elsewhere. In one word, awful. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Room was clean and well stocked. Plenty of towels, soaps, lotions. comfortable temperature. Friendly service throughout my stay, from the front desk upon arrival, the bartender, the food service, etc. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

This Doubletree had all the right things going for it. The room was clean. The beds were very high quality Serta with an underquilt and real pillows -- no plastic here. The linens had that country crisp smell and feel. The refrigerator actually got my fluids COLD, not cool. The maids respected my wish for no services and did not call me daily, which I definitely liked. I mistakenly came in a day ahead of my reservation and was able to get the same room I had reserved for a long weekend. Many thanks for making it easy for me to transition. The staff was very professional and helpful, and even helped me with eats recommendations. Ladies...you #1 rec was delicious! Oh and for those of you who also are Hilton Honors members, there is another Hilton property adjacent to this one. It also has a restaurant. Now... there were a couple dings, but that has to do with other elements. Children running in the halls -- their parents clearly did not supervise them...and they didn't stop when I addressed them after running for hours. I had to call the front desk and she put an end to all of that noise. Kudos for management. Secondly...there is a cafe and a BAR there. I've been in many hotels with bar but this was the first that the patrons hung out in the lobby area drinking. This occurred several nights when I passed through and they were not quietly drinking. I guess that is THIS generation. Funny thing...I went into the restaurant area and it was almost empty. Not sure why they couldn't have brought their party to that location. Finally...Cafe Bricco was a total miss for me. My grilled brussel sprouts were BURNED -- I picked through them. My reuben was not edible -- the corned beef was low quality scrap meat that my dog possible would have eaten. The bread pudding was flavorless -- did anyone even read the recipe? The ice cream that went with it was beyond low budget. At least I was happy with the tater tots that I traded fried for -- at least that was just a heat before eat. So...my recommendation is to SLEEP here and eat elsewhere. Make it multiple days -- you won't be disappointed. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
