Great place to stay!

We enjoyed our stay, it was rather late and we had the governors suite with hot tub, there was no plug and the guy at desk was a little lax on whether he could find us one. By time he brought it hour later we used a wash rag to plug it. Other than that great stay beds are so comfortable living area with bar when you walk in perfect for us! TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

We were forced to stay in a hotel due to being in the process of moving. It was delightful. The front desk personnel were extremely nice and accommodating. The rooms were quiet and clean. Everything worked well. Very much TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
Locked out of room for 40 minutes.
Jul 10th, 2020
I have emailed Hilton corporate twice. I have yet to receive a response. This past Sunday my husband was in a tablesaw accident. He had to be life flighted to Augusta Georgia. He lost all four fingers on his right hand. We chose this hotel due to the proximity of the hospital. The day he was discharged I decided to stay two more nights to be near the hospital since we live six hours away. One evening we went to the room to open the door and the key card would not work. We went down to the front desk to get a replacement key that key did not work as well. We ended up waiting in the hot hallway for 40 minutes waiting on maintenance. We were never offered any where more comfortable to sit nor were we never offered another room. My husband was in pain and he felt embarrassed people walking by and seeing his bandaged up hand as we were waiting in the hallway. I kept calling the front desk trying to get maintenance to come as quick as they could. I even broke down and cried to the young man on the phone one time again with no alternative solution offered other than to wait other than wait for maintenance. After 40 minutes The maintenance lady finally came and the problem was the batteries on the door. Housekeeping never came by either I ended up taking my own trash out. I will end this on a positive Robert on the morning I checked in was very helpful and very sweet and I will remember him always. We have to come back up there for a follow up visit next week. I would love to stay at this hotel again because it’s so close to the hospital but I just can’t bring myself to book. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
Not bad for the price, but it needs a make-over to bring it to 2020. Also good for vampires

I normally stay in Hilton's closer to Augusta or Aiken, but this business trip forced me to be in this excat location. Obviously this is an older hotel that used to be something else. The staff are SO FRIENDLY and helpful. My room was perfectly cleaned and didn't smell like cleaners, for once. I would give this 5 stars if Hilton would remodel the rooms. The bathroom door hits the toilet, and the bathroom was frankly too small. However, the rest of my room was spacious. If and when Hilton decides to modernize this hotel, it will easily be a 4-5 star experience. Just needs an upgrade. ... Oh, and my particular room had a window that opened up into a hallway. So if I had opened my curtains, people walking by (in the inside) could easily glare at me. Definitely weird not to have an outside view, but vampire would be super happy with no sunlight. We checked into a different local hotel and the conditions were terrible. I was able to book and switch to this hotel which was extremely clean, everybody was very friendly and the beds and pillows were super comfortable TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
