2020 Hotel is better, must be new management!

Mar 16th, 2020

My wife and I have been going to the Doubletree in Breckenridge during the winter for the past 4 years and have always enjoyed the location to slopes and town. But this year there is a noticeable improvement in service and hospitality! The staff is very welcoming and attentive, special THANKS to a Kevin at the front desk recently promoted to supervisor well deserved! He always makes us feel like we’re family coming for a visit! Also Sunday Brunch is always great food enhanced by great service , Cassie the best server in the restaurant very friendly and attentive. We stay here at least 6 times a year! THANKS to the staff we really feel at home here! TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Great customer service - old building with a terrible layout

Mar 14th, 2020

Stayed here for 5 nights in March 2020 as a Hilton Diamond member. First off, the hotel staff is fantastic, from the valet guys to the front desk, to housekeeping. The hotel was built in stages and we were put in the far reaches (room 805) which required first walking a very long hallway (in ski boots!), then riding a tiny elevator (with ski's and luggage), walking another serpentine hallway to a second elevator (larger), then finding our room. Try doing this multiple times a day, and you'll end up cursing the architects just as we did. The rooms are spacious and the housekeeping is great. The hotel does not allow self-parking, so you are extorted a whopping $38.00 per day to store your car. If you go, demand a room close to the lobby and save your aching shins from stomping miles to get to your room after a long hard day of skiing. I know they can't change the architecture, but you can manage it by requiring a close-in room. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Great Location Medicore Accomidations

Mar 12th, 2020

Great location, easy walk to the Quicksilver lift 100 yards max. This location needs an update it is dim and dark. Very loud in the hallways at night, doors tend to slam if you let them self close. Ski storage is great, room service not so much. Not enough elevators. Log walk in ski boots to the elevators. IT is overpriced for the accommodations but it that what you get in a Ski/resort town. I would go back since it is only my son and I and our expectations are lower than if I brought my wife along. It is average at best TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Not Recommended

Mar 9th, 2020

We found this hotel to be serious need of renovations. It is very worn and threadbare throughout. Very long times needed to access top floor rooms. Staff were not at all interested in helping us. Breakfast was OK. Valet parking is a complete rip off. Far too expensive for what you get. We would not recommend staying here. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

You receive less than expected

Mar 7th, 2020

I booked the hotel based in the overall rating and I admit I didn't read the reviews, which found to be true. First, let me tell you I have skier sons so we go to the area quite frequently and we've stayed in a lot of hotels around the Breck, Silverthorne, Dillon area. We booked with points and being a Hilton diamond member received free breakfast. The best part is the restaurant, breakfast and the service there was among the best. The facility feels outdated and yes, you have to drag your luggage all the way to one of the sides of the hotel where there is only one elevator and then walk thru a narrow maze in the 6th floor and take another one to the 8th. I said good, lets use stairs... well we couldn't find any stairs that connect the 8th with the 3rd floor, you need to switch stairs too! not functional for a family with limited time and I can't imagine the poor people that stayed in the 6th floor with all the constant noise of people bumping their bags to the walls. Our room was big and the king beds were comfortable and clean, but the room and the aisles smelled a little weird and shower and toiled didn't have good enough draining. Didn't have any issues with the valet parking other than being very expensive. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
